I dont know the actuall total number.
But all weve heard from press is were not.paying big wages, this guys wage was halved, this guy needs to go and all the replacements have been cheap.
I was wondering if we had real figured anywhere.
I don't imagine we would ever know. It's not the [relative] open book that it is in some places where all contracts have to be registered with the governing body. I wonder if the FFP books were public anywhere. That would be your only shot I reckon.

The wages bill the last 3 seasons has not been large at all!
Why are you asking when you've already stated you know the answer?

27-year old Spanish 2nd division forward Brandon Thomas is the Colak replacement.
9 goals in 40 games for Malaga last season.

3 players for the 1 striker slot yet 2 players for the 2 wing spots.
yes, i know we will just shoehorn some of those attacking mids out wide and wonder why things don't work well

“We look forward to working alongside PAOK FC and the wider team to deliver a cutting-edge, inclusive and sustainable new home for the club. On a personal level, I am immensely proud to be involved in a project of such prestige in my home country. We will deliver a world-class design that places people at its heart and is embedded in its community and the local environment. The new stadium will be a unique landmark in the beautiful city of Thessaloniki that both fans and Thessalonians will cherish for generations to come.”
Is it really Thessalonians? Seems wrong

Nope! Apart from the Populous guy looking exactly like every architect who's ever existed.
I'll give you one guess which of these guys he is:
the weird thing is, your statement is both accurate and incorrect. I've worked in some offices where the robots roll off the assembly of architects looking exactly like that and then others where even the top dogs rock around in jeans and heavy metal band tshirts

Kotarski seems to be sold to the team he was loaned to, who then sold on to us? Not sure why this is happening, unless they have a buy-out and knew we would pay slightly more. In which case it was a clever arbitrage on their side.
It may have been one of those loan clauses where if he plays a certain number of games then the loaning club is required to sign him.

When greeksoccer.com shut down, the alt-right members (which were broadly Olympiakos supporters) started their own cesspit forum, where as far as I know they still circle jerk today
why did it shut down?

The government officially gave the green light for the New Toumba Stadium.
The project now enters the next phase with PAE PAOK starting the design and construction phase.
Some rumors have the US based company Populous as the company that will take on the design and construction.
If things go as planned, the demolition of Toumba is expected to start in the summer of 2023.
Populous do not do construction

Scotsman will also be joining me in Athens for the final, though he will be taking the magic bus from Thessaloniki. I will be heading straight to the capital with my father. I feel like I am crossing off a bucket list item - going to a cup final with my father.
Enjoy file. I wish my old man was still around to see it.

who is gonna tell him he's doing it wrong then

yes, yes we do. but we may as well call up the left backs from the B team because I don't see Lucescu changing his mind on Andre and Diego on the left. If he hasn't realised it doesn't work by now, do we really think he is going to have an epiphany over the summer?

Kurtic has another season on loan before his contract expires with Parma, at which point he'll be a free agent and we can keep him if we choose to. The 'loan' was only a loan for tax reasons for Parma I believe. We essentially signed him to a 2 year contract. He will be 34 at the end of next season, so whether we want to keep him at that age is a different story.
34? perfect age for a Lucescu player, a bit young but we will give him time. 😉

The players we nees to sign IMO
Left winger
Dekari
2 x left backs
1 x CB
1 x CF
We don't need 2 left backs. Razvan is just going to play Andre there anyway whether we like it or not. We need a replacement for Kurtic [or buy him outright]

holy sh1t I thought I had it bad trying to field a team this year for the U14 girls I coach going from 9 a side to 11 a side and only having 12 in the squad from last year.
how does a semi professional team only have 12 in their squad? what a clusterfark

Keeper: we need one who is good on the ball. Paschalakis makes incredible saves but cannot pass to save his life.
Defence: we renewed Ingason so now we need another decent central defender. I expect both Varela and Crespo to be history at the end of the season.
Midfield: we need a fast winger and a decent central midfielder to pair up with Kurtic.
Striker: the chances we missed tonight just show how much we are crying out for a scorer.
I don't disagee with any of those but I think the keeper position is the one that is least urgent, especially for the fact you wont get much improvement without outlaying big $$$

I personally don't mind the move, he has shown this season he can be important with his experience, overall football IQ and his quality is still there. Let alone his leadership, I am happy for him to stay. Off the bench and starting in certain matches he will be a useful cog.
He's already a legend of the club, but imagine if he could captain us to another league title next year. His legend will grow bigger.
my fear is we will break him. I'd be interested to know where he sits in number of minutes played compared to the rest of the squad. It feels like he'd be top 3 and one of those would be our GK

There will be no French supporters at the game. I think that is a real shame for the genuine fans that want to travel and see their team. Once again the minority spoils it for the majority. The battle of the stands should be fought with voices and songs only. It's ok to give it back and forth and have some banter during the game. A line is crossed when you start throwing batteries, coins and flares at other people.
this is why I love the german supporter groups. for 99% of them it's about football and their communities.

this is the kind of match where our supporters storm the field and get us suspended for 5 years from euro competitions
