Michailidis cannot mark to save his life. Unfortunately I think that injury may have ruined him (I hope I am wrong). Against a proper team, we would have been slaughtered today.
You are right and wrong. He cannot mark. But he was like that before the injury. He is the same player now he was then, only now he has missed 18 months of development. Maybe he can progress because as we know defenders tend to hit their peak later than mids or forwards.

wait. we are asking 8 million for a kid Lucescu will probably end up not even including in his match day squads once we pickup some 73yr old striker from russia on loan

The Greek-Australian who bought Xanthi was Bill Pappas who paid 15 mill to buy the team. However he got into financial problems in Australia and abandoned the team, which in turn turned in the license and is starting fresh from the local amateur competitions.
by financial problems you mean has been charged with multi million fraud and is basically on the run. I have money problems, he has criminal problems

Indeed.
This 500k allows us the services of Karim Benzema for 21 hours and 54 minutes....
The world has gone mad.....
He would still produce more in 21hrs and 54 minutes than Taylor did.

he wasn't great first time around jfc

thanks for the info guys. we are in Greece for a month and the eldest is a talented footballer here in Australia and I thought we might see if we could find a training session to go and watch.

The men's team has juniors, does the women's team?

Akpom hosted Pelkas overnight in the English second division. Akpom scored the final goal and had a hand in the first as Middlesbrough defeated Hull 3-1

Probably just to get checked out by their doctors up close. I don't understand what his injury even is - when's the last time he was able to play? Like October? This is a VERY long time to be out.
we have played better without him if i'm honest

PAOK is not the place for a junior striker. We will always go and recruit someone from overseas and play them before a kid. They will stagnate by not playing senior minutes and we will opine about wasted talent.
I am not saying that going to Chicago Fire to play reserves is the answer but the price means he will more likely be given a turn to prove himself, not get farmed out to s%$#! teams in Greece.

I would suggest a ref from Australia, but we all know that country does not exist.
Antonis, Anastasiadis and Tochouroglou rule out any Austri/alians

I'm pretty happy with the thought of Panserraikos returning. I plan to take at least one trip to Greece this year and who knows, maybe this increases my chances of attending a PAOK match when I'm forced to visit my family's villages (both very close to Serres).

Did not see the game, but from all accounts Zivkovic played very well. Serbia as a team just shot themselves in the foot. Luckily for them they got a gift from Brazil defeating Switzerland and with a win in their last game they are through.
He cost them the first goal but improved after that

I wonder why Giorgos Savvidis left. Any reasonable explanation?
Couldn't devote enough time being on the ground in Thessaloniki?

This is a lost season. Might as well get rid of anyone over 26 and start new. Including Lucescu.
