  1. UEFA.COM wrote: Olympiacos CFP have completed the signing of Brazilian left-back Leonardo Jesus Geraldo from Brazilian second-tier side Portuguesa SP. The 22-year-old has signed a five-year contract with the Greek champions. 'Big step forward' "It's a big step forward in my career," Leonardo said. "I am joining a big European club and the fact they have won ten out of the last eleven titles in Greece speaks volumes about them. I am willing to learn and give my best for my team." Leonardo is Olympiacos's third new signing during the transfer window following the arrivals of Fernando Belluschi and Mirnes Sisič. Olympiacos are second in the Greek Super League, one point behind leaders AEK Athens and face Chelsea FC in the first knockout round of the UEFA Champions League. *************************************************************** Personally I don't know this guy and haven't watched him.... Only time will tell
  2. Where else are they going to find it better in Greece? NO-WHERE.. Like the great words for Yiogos Mazonakis "LIKE HERE NOWHERE"
  3. You have to admit though that when Ne was playing and was healthy he was a good midfielder..... My reasoning behind is just so we can "open up" the budget even more if we have to sign some more midfielders... I think that we need to look into the Serbian market a bit more.. There are some great youth talent and some veterans that would LOVE to play at a club like ours and would give their blood and sweat...
  4. with all these signings is it safe to say that Marko Ne is out of the team at this point? I have not heard anything about his and I thought that he was a good player for the club? ANy ideas from anyone?
  5. couple of things... 1) Like Belluchi as a player and he's going to help us in the middle alot w/ his pace and good ball handling skillz 2) If we sign Papadopoulos that would be another great signing this year.. After the game w/ Iraklis he really showed GREAT potential.
  6. Just read from Supersport that Belluchi will delay his comming to Greece for a couple of days because of the sudden death of his grandmother...
  7. NEW ENGLAND.. No-one is going to stop them in the post season.
  8. I completely agree w/ the Kyryiakos comment...Stay away from Greece my man.
  9. Kyryiakos is the better one from the 2 names named above, but I would REALLY be surprised if he comes... It's very evident that we need to get a defensman and there are plenty of them out there we just have to scout a bit better..
  10. Lemonis is DEFINITELY NOT THE ANSWER!No way guys... It's no fluke that we got the win but you all have to admit that this years team (as a whole) is better than last year. It seems that in every position we're preety solid (except in the CB role)
  11. OK! Where did you find these odds??? That's the question here
  12. What a shocker w/ Man U Not being able to score vs Reading... I still see Man U winning the whole thing.
  13. This is a good pick-up for your team. The trick is here (just like LUALUA) how quickly can these guys "mesh" w/ their teamates
  14. Ziaka, Aren't there any other teams in this competition or did I miss that? I know that the Arsenal womens team is extremely strong. Thanks
  15. Nothing but good praise and KUDOS to the kids. This was an AMAZING accomlishment... BRAVO PEDIA :gr: :gr: :gr: :gr: :gr: :gr: These guys should come back to Greece as heroes and there should be TONS of support...
  16. This just shows you that our youth is the way to go. At some point these "old farts" of players have to say that I'm going to step back and let these youngsters play before I do and have my self come off the bench. If not the players the coaches need to realize this. BRAVO PEDIA
  17. 3-2 Win for our boys What a game.... Great substitution by Nioplias.. PAME YIA TO KYPELLO!
  18. 90% chance of going through to the next stage of the competition... As long as we don't flounder completely in the match against Spain. We just need to keep playing the soccer that Nioblias has taught the kids and go from there.. :gr: :gr: :gr: :box: :box: :gr: :gr: :gr: :nw: I'm still disappointed that NO GREEK TV is televising these NT games SHAME
  19. GREAT Result by our "young guns"
  20. Ziaka, Have you heard if Univiosion or ESPN Deportes might show it? I know that they are doing a great job showing the U-20's here in the US.
  21. Good luck to our kids... We're going tino this tournament as underdogs and let hope that we come out as Champions.... :gr: :gr: :gr: :gr: :gr: :gr: :gr: :gr: :gr: :gr: :gr:
  22. What a shame.... I watched the U-21 game vs Azerbaijan and it was a DISGRACE. 1st of all we won the match 4-1 which was extremely positive for the team, but the turn-out to watch this game was a complete joke. The team was playing in Athens and it attracted ONLY 200 FANS.. What the hell? If we don't support our you th what are we going to be expecting in the future?? It was a disgrace to see that sort of a result from the Greek Public. But you know who's to blame for this? EPO (How many times have we said that?)
  23. The U-21 played Denmark today and had to come back from 0-1 to win 2-1.
  24. This guys is TOP CLASS Not only is he a talented player that has scored preety much on all levels, but wants to end his career like a man. Hats Off to this guy and I wish him the best..
