You're right, AEK and PAOK have opposed Oly as much as PAO has over the years... Lol... how many times did PAOK elect to abstain from any kind of stance when Alafouzo proposed change over the years? As for AEK, Meli stayed low key for years file... Th mou les tora ?
But for some reason, PAO takes the brunt of the system's rath for some reason.... why?
There is no solution in meeting up with the drug smuggler Marinakis... You have to cut out the toomer to cure the sickness afflicting Greek soccer. The fact that Marinakis is on the phone deciding wether or not derbies take place is a giant red flag guys... Yet you guys want to meet with him??? By all means.. Lol There is no negotiating with that criminal.
-
Was Marinakis banned from all football activities last summer yes or no???
Why is he still participating in football matters?
Good for Alafouzos for not attending. Marinakis and his puppet Kontonis should get F***ed.
That of course is my opinion.
@ OS, where were the other 2 the last few years??!??? Give me a break. PAO has opposed the red paragka largely alone for years. (The proof? Gate 13 closure and endless amount of fines levied on the club among other things..) It's about time your team joined the fight...
-
I'm glad he won't go to Kontoni's farcical meeting. That guy along with Tsipra are clowns.
-
I on the other hand really believed in him. Despite the injuries having slowed him down, I thought he would bring a level of class and professionalism rarely seen in Greek xorafia... :(

Essien looked lackadaisical yesterday... He was asked to go out and warm up with the rest of the reservists prior to the game and failed to do so...
He was then also having a laugh on the sideline with Kasami during the game when his team mates were sweating on the field...
Essien is a persona non grata... He should find himself a new club...

Free agency has opened up and my beloved 49ers, with plenty of cap space, haven't done much to bolster a very depleted squad...
I now that championship caliber teams are not built exclusively via FA, but the team needs help right away and Baalke seems nonchalant... Either that or players want no part of an organization that gets rid of a wining coach in Jim Harbaugh only to replace him by Tomsula, and then him with the not so popular Kelly...
I get that he has plenty of picks in the draft, but the team actually regressed at the o-line position (by far last year's biggest weakness) following the loss of Boone. That leaves only Staley as a bonneffide NFLer to protect our QB. (Gabbert? Seeing as Kaepernick wants out; I hope we can squeeze a couple of picks out of Denver if they want him).
As for the draft, Baalke needs to up his game as he's been more miss than hit of late... I hope they draft Goff...

The welfare systemis indeed plagued by inefficiencies... A major overhaul is needed...
Again, which party is brave enough to do it and risk the rath of voters?
-
^Every citizen despite income?
So, we are basically taking away all motivation for people to find jobs and better themselves correct? I don't know... It seems to me like the Liberals are buying votes at the cost of Billions to taxpayers... Will taxes be hiked? How does the country handle debt?
Alberta was a special case IMO... When the oil money was flowing, they were untouchable... Could this system work there now? Or any other province? Say Ontario, Quebec.... Not so sure...
-
Who pays for this? I'm all for socialism done right, but this seems dangerous... I hope Canada doesn't mimic Europe's path to insolvency....

You happy JVC? ;)

Congrats guys! You got the goal and we couldn't... See you in the playoffs!

It's normal for a new manager to experiment with all his players/formations at the start of his stint... Perhaps it's this and not some evil plot? Just saying...
-
Lamiara remembers the glory days, and knows you need gangster style management to win the championship in Greece....Tzigger would walk around with guns blazing, now we have Alafouzos tweeting all day, kinda different approaches wouldn't you say!
If you make a statement, at least get it right. "The gangster style management" You are referring to was Kapetanios at his prime. Tzigger was a lackadaisical mopey F*** that didn't give a s%$#! about PAO from the start... He hid behind his appointed incompetent presidents...

^ when you express your opinion, could you do it in a way that doesn't seem like you quoted my statement? Thanks
Edit your post please. ;)

Where is Pateras you ask? Here he is:

That I'm not sure...

Guys like Eki Gonzalez are owed salary!!! That's pre-Pateras!!! This is nuts when you sit down and think about it...
-
Latsis?!??? Please be true!!!!
EDIT:
According to this: http://www.sport-fm.gr/article/podosfairo/fabori-o-latsis-gia-tin-anakainisi-tis-lewforou/3143285
Spiros Latsis company would undertake the renovations, but would not be involved in PAE... Ah well... Lol
On a positive note, at least the renovations seem to be on the way!

Pateras in recent years has revamped his core business (shipping). He sold off his aging fleet before the brunt of the recession hit. In more recent times, he has purchased a new fleet and business is booming for him. Because of that, and his sit downs with Alafouzos, people are speculating that he will return... Despite him denying it...
As for the giannakoupoloi, they are a curious case. Although they are sick Panathinaikoi, it is worth noting that when Tzigger attacked Pateras and Bgeno in the papers, and vice versa, the Giannakopouloi for some reason sided with the Vardinogianides... (Then again, Thanasi did publicaly, sympathize with Kokkalis when the Gavs turned on him in 2010 for no longer doing enough...
Now that they are older, I don't think they have it in them to lead anymore... They are probably, at this stage, more concerned with protecting their legacy at this point.. As for their son Dimitraki... Some would say he's not the right man for the job.. I'll leave it at that!!!
Lastly, Bgeno took a beating from what I understand with the economic crisis...
-
He sabotaged the team from within. He declared war on Pateras by making his yes men wage a smear campaign in the papers...
He also refused to inject the cash that his part of the pie called for. Which incidentally enough at that point was still a majority stake at 56%. And people want to know why Pateras and Bgenopoulos left? (They along with Polemis and Giannakopoulos and others had 34% of the team btw).
Again, when Pateras left, PAO's war chest was full... Yet after 2012, after 1 year of Tzigger running the show by himself, all of a sudden the club was broke... These are all facts...

Again, maybe you regard Meli a little too highly? Given his power, what has he done exactly?
ALa has been fighting the red paragka for years through HIS media (Ska?). Meli had no influence in the matter. Like I said, he was laying low cause his club wasn't even in the top flight. As for breaking the news on drug smuggling fatso, you have Alafouzo and Gate 13 to thank for that. Rumblings among gate 13 had started about a year ago in the stands (banners and chants... Well before Meli returned to the top flight). Also, 1 guy played a role in the meetings between our clubs over the summer...
You know who played a very real role behind the scenes?
Hint: he destroyed Kokkalis.
