  1. What matters most is the win.In a way both us and turkey did not played well in todays games so we can have more energy left for the matchup against each other.ELLADARA GAMA TOUS TO M@UNI TIS ....... :gr: :gr: :gr:
  2. In a way i feel bad for team USA.Only the first one was the real Dream team with the elite of Basketball(Jordan,Bird,Johnson and the rest superstarts),the second team was strong with Shaq(i can not remember the rest of them) but the rest of the so called "Dream teams" were just good players that had no team spirit and played against opponontes that had no clue about. This year they have the future stars coming to this competition and don t take me wrong, they are strong but they are not unbeatable.I really hope we get to play them and manage to whoop there ass. :gr: :gr: :gr: :gr: :gr:
  3. Another win for our country and by the looks of things is going to be a showdown between us and our usuall "friends. HAMAMATSU (FIBA World Championship) – Antonis Fotsis and Nikos Zisis buried three-pointers at the end as Greece stunned Australia 72-69 in Hamamatsu at the FIBA World Championship. In a pivotal Group C battle, the European champions won for the third straight game while Australia suffered their second defeat in three games. Greece trailed 69-66 after CJ Bruton made just one of two free throws with 19 seconds remaining. The Greeks rushed the ball up the floor and Dimitris Diamantidis passed to a wide open Fotsis who struck from long range on the left to tie the game. Australia inbounded to David Barlow but as the 22-year-old crossed midcourt, he lost control of the ball and it fell into the hands of Diamantidis. The Panathinaikos star dribbled, spotted Zisis on the left and passed him the ball. With three seconds on the clock, Zisis released his shot from just outside the arc and the ball fell through the hoop. Greece’s bench emptied onto the floor to celebrate, bringing back memories of their come-from-behind win over France last year in a EuroBasket semi-final in Belgrade, while Australia’s players were stunned. "We expected a difficult game against Australia," Diamantidis said. "We played against them in the Stankovic Cup so we knew what they could do. "We made some mistakes and they made us pay for them, but we have a big belief until the end." Greece won despite turning the ball over 19 times in the game. In their overtime win over Lithuania, they struggled at the line, hitting just 21 of 41 but against the Aussies, they were 20 of 23. "The players and coach of the Greek national team believe that we can try until the last second of every game," said Diamantidis. “All credit to Greece, they stepped up and hit the shots at the end,” said Australia captain Jason Smith. Diamantidis led all scorers with 20 points while Andrew Bogut had 18 in defeat for Australia. :gr: :gr: :gr: :gr: ALL THE WAY BABY...

  10. I dont know why but to see our second team win games like this one against an average opponent fron the greek league is really encouraging. We have many solutions from the bench and as long as nobody else gets hurt this could be a really GOOD year if you know what i mean.. ;)

  14. The US has a good team but they are not a "dream team" like the one they had with Jordan,Johnson,Bird and the rest legends. The team that they have is young and has some a lot of talent but if any team plays strong D and doesn t waste many shots they could win the game.
  15. 4-0 Djole with a penalty kick.
  16. i can not see the game but this is what i found. http://www.sportaction.gr/document.php?cat...cument_id=43120
  17. Osfp is looking good so far in the friendlys and we seem to score a lot more than we used to even for friendly games.Lets see if we can keep up the good work when it matters most in the CL games. http://www.sportime.gr/football_inside.asp...rticle_id=25319
  18. He is trying to get into form and Sollied told him that if he keeps up the good work he could play a lot more this year since he can play both defence and midfield. For a guy that was not playing for 2-3 years he looks lovely. He is not afraid to put his legs in chalenges and he looks a lot more stronger.Lets hope that all goes well for him this year.
  19. You are right about not geting crazy excited about a friendly game but is not everyday that you beat a german team 4-0.I believe that osfp played great, kept pressing the germans high and try to play quickly with one-two passes while playing good D.It is still way to early but our team looks promising.
