It's just a lot of negative sentiment now. We need to just put the past behind us and move forward. What has happened, is over, we need to move forward. At the very least, play for pride.

Gotta beat one of Spain or Sweden for sure, and can't lose to either, and can't do anything but win against anyone else, I'd say. Another win over Sweden in Solna would be huge.

A win is a win. At a minimum, it shows that we have heart.

Noticed that. I miss all the excitement at the start of the qualifiers and a few years back at the end of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers. Thank JVS for his stubbornness & EPO for another miserable hire for a manager!

Greek football is in a sad state. The league hasn’t started, no clubs in the Champions League. Greece is ranked 20th in European Club coefficient. Greece can’t beat Georgia and Kosovo. Now this. I thought Zagorakis was going to replace JVS after Sweden, now he’s quit.

I really hope we see a different system with Sweden, some changes are needed. Surely JVS can't start with the same 3 5 2 formation which was a disaster with Kosovo. Players playing scared of making a mistake, and consequently not winning balls that normally they would win, and not making good decisions when they have the ball. Play breaks down too often and too easily. Having just 41% of possession with Kosovo was embarrassing. I don't know the answer, but if I see the same formation, I will not expect to see an improvement.

Ya especially last game we just needed to waste the final minutes like today. The Georgia match we are lucky we didnt lose it.

Add those 4 points we dropped against Georgia and Kosovo, we're 2nd in the group.

Fantastic win. Relief in the end. It was pleasing to see the team push for goals and not sit back when they took lead. Sweden are good side. Tough side. If we can somehow repeat this in the Spain match or the return leg in Sweden then we might still have a slim chance. Still a long shot.

No kidding. Greece have little concept of how to finish. That player should have shot the ball but if he going to pass in the box it has to be a sure pass with enough pace to get to his player. This may be a team with some youth but they have to show some promise at some point so they can see a future.

0-0 Half time. We are lucky Vlachodimos has made some big saves whilst Pavlidis had our one big chance. In a nutshell, we have had possession but can only rely on crosses for chances at goals, Androutsos’s crosses have been poor like they were in Kosovo… go figure!! Our midfield combo lacks the ability to go through the middle.. go figure. Sweden have had little issues running through us and have had couple of huge chances we are lucky Vlachodimos saved. Mavropanos really lost in the headlights when it comes to reading a header in a crowd. Unless another attacker comes on soon and we can change things up, I see a draw or loss

In the many years being part of this forum I have never seen it so quiet on game day for the Ethniki for Euro or WC Qualifying. It shows what a sad state the team is on. I always had hope but its down to zero for me right now. The team and EPO are in shambles and it looks like there is no end in sight...

Bakasetas and Bouchalakis do not have the ball skill level needed to compete in the world cup qualifying level....they are way tooo slow

I want players who will run and give it their all. Watching those two go in slow motion was terrible!!
