Wow, so a CL Q3 team could lose two games, get booted to EL PO, lose both those games, and still make it to the ECL group stage. Hilarious. Talk about failing into success.

Μπαλίτσα ξέρει, αγαπά την ομάδα, βγάζει πάθος στο γήπεδο και θα τα βρει γρήγορα με ένα σωρό ισπανόφωνους γύρω του. Εύχομαι, όχι μόνο να μπει την Κυριακή, αλλά να το καρφώσει κιόλας... Να βγάλουμε από μέσα μας όσο τρέλλα δεν μας βγήκε από την αφλογιστία μεγαλόσχημων παικταράδων που φόρεσαν τη φανέλα μας.

Tricky draw IMO. Simply must pick up 6 points against Omonia but they won't be easy matches. If you get 6 from those games you give yourself a fighting chance. Getting deep in even the "terrible" competition will still be a great accomplishment. It is not CL or nothing. If we had kept a solid record in the Europa League in recent years, then we would not constantly be in the unseeded situation we find ourselves in CL qualifiers. We can still end this season with an improved standing.

I think so too, but not because he did not score on the penalty kick. Anybody can miss one. The reason I think he should move on is that he has not improved in the las couple years. He is still the selfish player that he was two years ago. Instead of passing the ball to a player in a better position he will dribble the ball to death and then lose it. On top of that he was made the team captain, which is a role I don't think he is suited for.

Well he has never coached Tzavellas before, if he sees that for himself, I am sure he will not get another call up.

Watching Wague play yesterday, and some of the "hype" from his signing reminded me of this classic:

As long as we're in Europe, be it EL or CL or whatever, I'm happy. If CL didn't have the big money it does, I couldn't give a rats whether we play there or EL. Then again, I'm not normal.

Crespo had a nightmare performance, I was calling for Wague but he was actually worse. Subbing Pelkas, not only the single playmaker one the park but our captain and leader, (need I even mention how important it is to have someone out there like that when things get desperate) was a rookie mistake, Tzolis was the correct substitution. Michalidis was either tired or just lazy/casual those last 25 minutes, I’m not surprised he made that mistake after seeing his body language just minutes prior. All in all, a standard PAOK let down. I failed to get my hopes up for Besiktas and Benfica, and typical PAOK, they give us a reason to believe, only to have a loss hurt 10x as much. Hopefully we can have some good results in Europe and get back on track in league, put this behind us, but I have a feeling there will be some scarring.
