So on a whim I decided to look up what Pozoglou is doing these days. He's apparently playing for "Veria NPS." I legit had no idea that the OG Veria had dissolved in 2018, and that he (and Vellidis! And Skondras' brother!) are playing for this new team in the third division. I'm guessing this is just a rebranding of the original one?

It is 1000% what's going on IMO... And I have extremely high hopes that this team will look better than last year even without the "stars" we once had. Fingers crossed!!

I have always rated Stafylidis. But right now he shouldn't be anywhere near the pitch. If you're not playing in your club team, how can you be expected to perform in the NT games. I don't buy the argument of because he's captain he has to be selected. There are plenty of other players capable of wearing the arm-band. Just hand it over to them and let Staf know he needs to start playing club football if he wants to be playing in the NT.

I’d put Hatzidiakos and Mantalos in the team instead of Sokratis and Samaris. Hatzidiakos is better than Sokratis in all aspects. Sokratis is starting to slow down. Mantalos should be involved. He’s not being utilised correctly. He’s not a winger or striker. He’s a CAM or CM. Fetfatzidis deserves a spot somewhere. Had a great season with Aris. I agree with everything else.

I’m surprised Stelios Kitsiou didn’t get called up. I’m also surprised Lazaros Rota is being called up instead. I too want to have this Greek team to be 100% Greek. Not the best line up really. I would’ve played Lampropoulos and Siovas just to be safe. Svarnas to me doesn’t seem like a good enough option. I wish Mavropanos was called up but he’s injured. I would give Tzolis some playing time. Who knows he could score a couple goals himself. Stafylidis shouldn’t be playing let alone CB. Siovas or Michailidis should be there. I don’t understand why we never play Mantalos in his natural position, which is CAM. Bakasetas has been playing well but I think Fortounis and Mantalos are technically more superior. Not the best line up in my opinion but I’ll give it a chance.

We should be beating a lot of people after the 2014 WC. Its been 6 years and we ve barely beat any of the ones htat we should. The audacity of believing these are easy matches is insane. We ll both be here tomorrow to commentate on how we barely won/ had a bad result bro. Be patient.

Dude Sokratis and Manolas are done, they are obviously a cancer in the dressing room and to be honest how far have they got us?? we've gone through how many coaches and we've been losing to the worst teams in the world with both of those guys in the line up. Its time to rebuild the team in a proper way as we saw what happened after our last world cup appearance when guys retired we were screwed. Give JVS a chance man the guy has us playing our best soccer in years.

We are obviously in a rebuilding stage. Not surprised to see some of the young faces. Still hate to see so many PAOK players called. We don't need unnecessary injuries.
