Our new retro jersey: Much better than our first jersey.

I believe it gets us into a playoff bracket where 3 teams will qualify for the World Cup along with the 10 group winners. Greece needs to top this group and have that playoff option and we need to start moving up the FIFA rankings.

I wanted Holevas back when we had Skibbe but now the way the team is going and shaping up and his age it would be a step backwards for us.

For the last campaign I said we should have him but now I don’t think he fits in especially with JVS shift to playing more of the younger guys.

I am not hopeful of bringing in comparable replacements but I will be more than happy to eat my words. The only TD we had in recent times that brought in players that were clearly much better than what we had was Michel. He basically built the team that won the title. Branko was only good for looking serious at press conferences but basically has brought us some average players and so far an average manager all at expensive prices. I hope the new German TD turns out better.

Hnid is now official. Team is expected to sign another forward in the near future. Would love if they also nabbed another midfielder since Szymanski had surgery and will be out for 2-3 months.

Software update for the forums was attempted but was not successful. Forums had to be restored to the most recent backup. As a result some post might have been lost. Another attempt at software upgrade will be made on Saurday, August 22, 2020.
