  1. Not a very good game for us to say the least, but it doesn't exactly represent us as a team. The team has been training a lot (double practices) and I'm sure fatigue has a part in this result. We should get a better indication of what we look like in the game against Udinese. Here are 2 pictures from today's match, I noticed our jersey had "Avance" as a sponsor, not sure if that's our jersey sponsor this year.

  2. If Berg likes what he sees after 5 days in practice, I believe we're in for a fun season!

  4. LMAO, Tsipras and Syriza get elected on " No more Austerity" "Enough is Enough" " The Greek people have suffered enough". He rejects deal after deal, he even calls a referendum to see what the Greek people want. A big NO is passed, people dancing, drinking , celebrating on the streets. What does he do? He brings the same deal that was offered months ago, back to the table. WTF??? The elderly and sick are suffering, banks are closed, people can't even get to their money. suffering all around. Everyone blaming the wealthy Europeans for all of this. I would say Tsipras is the blame of all of this. He really is a mental case ,a failure. The world world is laughing at Greece now. Who will take this country serious. Its like a person hiding and making excuses to a debt collector when they owe money on a credit card. Making excuse after excuse. My poor Greece.

  8. No matter what anyone says the truth is right in front of us, it's impossible to go from a successful World Cup qualifying campaign and a successful World Cup to not being able to win a game against minnows and becoming the worst team in the easiest division within months after the World Cup, not having Karagounis and other veterans in our line must be the biggest reason for our failures, and maybe our young guys are s%$#! and don't have the heart and passion the veterans have showed in the past, we lack a leader on the field that can grab this team by its balls and lead and teach the young players, I'm not sure it has to do with our coaching anymore, I think guys like Samaris and Kone and laz, and so on are not committed to team defense and doing everything in there power to play hard nose football and both ends of the field. I don't think it's a coincidence anymore that once we started playing more young guys and stopped putting in veterans we went to s%$#!. I do think we need young guys but we need a good mix of veterans and young players. I think if more young guys got introduced under our previous coaches during the time we were successful maybe they wouldn't look so lost out there and they would have seen and been apart of the passion and hard nose defense this team played in the past.

  11. Hold on a second we had a 37 year old Karagounis, a 35 year old Katsouranis, and a 34 Year old Salpingidis in the World Cup and made history for the first time making the last 16 in a massive tournament and everyone wished we played more younger players instead of them. Now that we got that we cant even beat the Faroes. This is ridiculous. Dont get me wrong i was in favour of playing the younger players but now i am now seeing what Santos was doing and how we were achieving. I dont care what people are thinking now as i believe now that we need players above 30 in our squad but to a point. We need to have Katsouranis Tziolis Salpingidis Samaras and Torosidis playing and starting well the majority of them accept 1 maybe Tziolis cause i believe they are the players that are the most experienced players and the players that will provide success as shown in the past with previous coaches. The players that i dont want and will not provide any chances for the team are Gekas, Vyntra there not needed as Tziolis, Samaras and Torosidis should play in the WC2018 they will only be 33 by then. As i said experience is the way to go if we want any success. The defensive system we should go back to and this way we can focus on the details like counter attacking and set pieces. We dont have a world class team thats why we need experience more than anything.

  13. All this talk. Nothing will change. Tsipras promised the banks opened Tues. Its now Thurs and still closed till Monday, LMAO. Taxes will go up, pensions down, no debt forgiveness. Tsipras will bow to Germany. He has no choice. All those poor souls dancing last sunday after the vote will be in for a shock come this Monday Morning.

  14. I'm convinced this guy's father met his end jumping from a plane over Crete in 1941. It would definitely explain his attitude towards Greece. Poor little hitleryouth... :lol:I love it when these pompous asses allow themselves to be taped while spewing their garbage. 1 minute they claim to be protecting the Union, and the next they make pseudo-racist remarks.. It shows everyone their true colours! Well, a big "Fig dish ashloch" to you little feeble kraut!

  17. I heard this deal is a lot worse than the one in February. Thankfully Obama and France stepped in or the Greek people would have committed suicide.

  18. I had a feeling this would be true. When we were with Adidas and we played friendly's we always played in our kits whether they were the year before or the current ones. I thought maybe Puma went out of their way to provide "friendly" kits. Our training clothes look better than this kit! The stripe down the sleeve doesnt even match the shorts or anything so boring and generic. Its a disgrace!

  19. So all you anti austerity people know, this proposed deal is much much much much worse on the people. This time it is actually 23% VAT on everything and not 13% VAT like it was before. Keep that in mind before you start praising Tsipras.

  20. Well, well! Now the EU powers that be are openly talking about a 30% haircut! After Christine Lagarde said it was necessary, after Varoufakis and Tsipras stood up to them, after the Greek people stood up to them in the referendum. Where are Samaras, Bakoyianni, Evangelos and the

  22. To be honest I think this is pretty irresponsible of our club.... We have the highest paid player in the league but NO WHERE NEAR the highest budget of the league.... this guy's salary is a LARGELY SIGNIFICANT portion of our budget and we have invested a lot into 1 player... Teams built around this model tend to fail... teams built around many players tend to excel b/c of the homogeneity of the squad.... I've said it once, I"ll say it again.... paying Essien, an over the hill player who is looking to make a last second payday, crazy money when you have up and coming players like Lagos, Karelis, Klwnaridis, Donis who are paid peanuts is a WRONG way to go... causes disruption and discension amongst players I feel like the harmony and atmopshere of our team is what separates our team from the rest of the league... talent wise we are good, but not great.... but the way some of these players click with each other b/c of the bond that is established in the lockerroom is what puts us to the next level I hope that doesn't disappear by bringing all these crazy paid foreigners (Sanchez, Essien)
