  1. Vryzas was officially announced as the new TD by Veroia. This basically means he is finally out of making decisions at PAOK.

  2. The problem with Golden Dawn is that got violent very quickly. If they had a simple policy of tightening up the borders then that's a great policy. Instead, they went around beating people. Not the best look. What next, Greeks that don't agree with them ?

  4. Anyone else here play Football Manager? Maybe if we email the club screenshots of the squad we can assemble for PAOK in game then we can win the TD job, we couldn't do a worse job than Vryzas.

  5. I find it hard to be angry with Syriza. Some of their ideas annoy me, even astound me, because in this day and age it can't work like that anymore. For proof they only need look back to the failures of the last 3 decades. But all in all, I just find them naive. As for ND/PASOK, I have a white-hot burning anger towards them, because they knew better. They are not naive and know how things work. But they didn't do anything about it. Posters here will say it was because there was too much resistance from the left. Bollocks. They were comfortable and happy to sit on the throne. As long as they got to eat lobster every night, what did they care. Just see Kostas Karamanlis for an example of a rat. Legally they may have not broken any laws, but morally and in my eyes, they are criminals of the highest order. They were in charge of the nation, and instead chose to line their own pockets. Bravo, enjoy your lobsters.

  8. I wonder why the rush to push up the opening date by a month? Last I had read, they were planning for a June 11th opening, 2 years to the date ERT was shut down. Beside the symbolism, the June date was supposed to be a safeguard against messing up NERIT's deals with Eurovision and Champions League. Regarding the planned services, as I've said before, I believe three domestic channels is overkill. They could get by easily with 2 channels and an International feed. (Plus Vouli) It seemed they were leaning that way too, but have decided otherwise. I guess the government has to try to save some face on their election promises, since most of them haven't panned out thus far. Isn't it funny that prior to ERT's closing, there were almost weekly programing strikes by ERT's union? Yet since the closing, they have prided themselves for reporting uninterrupted (and unpaid) since ERT's closing. One has to wonder where this sense of journalistic duty was prior to the closing? :gr:
