wayniac
Who do you guys pick to win the title next year? I think Spurs and Miami are hot contendors, but I also think Detroit will have a decent shot again. Who do you see as having a good realistic outside shot of winning the title? wayniac
I've been thinking about this a bit more and think that Cleveland may be a solid shot at making the finals this year in the East They've added Donyell Marshall and Larry Hughes, they are going to be top 4 going into the playoffs. Should be another team to keep an eye on
dark_horse
This is a great topic guys, it's hard to say who might make it to the finals, best chance from the West would be Spurs, Rockets, & Suns. From the East I only see the Heats with the best lineup in the conference.
wayniac
Rockets are off to a slow start but should pick up as the season progresses. Their lineup looks a little bit weak when you look past Tmac and Ming but hopefully a few of their role players can step up and be productive. AegeanBlu
Spurs, they have solid teamwork. Plus, Parker and Ginobili are only getting better.
polyxrone
Probably a team from the West Division - once again the West is more talented.
Crazy
i believe the spurs because they look really strong but detroit&miami from the east will make for some serious final playoffs.
dark_horse
Wow, Houston Rockets are 4-12 this year? Aren't they suppose to be the league's top contenders for an NBA title? :not:
dark_horse
The Miami Heats won there first game under there "new" coach in a 100-97 over the Chicago Bulls. With Riley coaching the Heats, they could make a serious push with Detroit for the NBA finals.

dark_horse
Tracy McGrady is by far the best all-around player in the NBA Far better than Kobe Bryant, he would not have those 3 rings if it wasn't for his sidekick (Shaquille O' Neal). I remember the 13 points he scored in 40 seconds in Houston to beat the San Antonio Spurs 81-80. That was some kind of a comeback! Houston Rockets record has improved to 10-13 for the season, they are a fun team to watch.
