In the upcoming IAAF Diamond League in Lausanne, Switzerland, Katerina Stefanidi, Miltos Tentoglou, and Paraskevi Papachristou will take part. Currently in the qualifying picture, Stefanidi is through to the finals, while the other two are currently in the top 8. The current standings

Stefanidi - 2nd place 17 pts Q (1 win)
Papachristou - 5th place 4 pts

Despite Papachristou not getting any points today in the Diamond League meet at Paris, she still qualifies for the finals in Zurich.
Kyriakopoulou also will qualify for the finals in Brussels, even though she missed the last two meets due to injury. It is uncertain if she will compete next week.

Impressive jump by Alysha Newman! 4.82, a new national record for Canada!
Not the first time a female pole vaulter broke a NR in a Diamond League meet, Angelica Bengtsson of Sweden did it earlier this season and won her meet at 4.76.

Stefanidi finishes 2nd at 4.75

I am guessing that a few might be competing in one of those IAAF World Challenge competitions or they could be injured.
The problem is SEGAS does not report any injury updates regularly on the Greek athletes.

OH MY GOD!
Canadian pole vaulter Alysha Newman just broke another Canadian national record, this time 4.82 indoors at the Zurich Diamond League Train Station! I would not be surprised if she medals in Doha this season.

That does not explain why we don't have athletes take part in 100, 400, 1,500, 110 hurdles,  High Jump, Discus Throw, Javelin Throw, relays (men) and 800, 400 hurdles, Shot Put, Javelin and relays (women)

In the Zurich Diamond League Finals, three Greeks either perform OK or downright pathetic.  The results :

Miltos Tentoglou - 5th 8.10

Paraskevi Papachristou 5th 14.33

Emmanuel Karalis - 13th 5.43
