Kostas Posted October 13, 2003 Share Posted October 13, 2003 things are starting to come together for the knicks, i hope. after bringing in new blood and size, with the drafting of Sweetney, Vranes and Lampe, we have added the experience and defense of Mutombo. granted he is 37 and currently in less than good shape, but since ewing left, we have had nothing. if we also keep in mind that Mcdyess is returning early int eh season, we have quite a few options. our starting 5 looks like: eisley houston van horn thomas mutombo thomas maybe edged out with mcdyess back. and with sweetney coming off the bench, along with witherspoon, harrington, and the youngsters lampe and vranes, i am very optomistic. the only problem is that all these players will need time to gel. but i hope things look up...
