tihio10 Posted September 18, 2004 Share Posted September 18, 2004 The season is starting soon, and I noticed that we also have predictions for the world cup qualifiers, the Greek Cup, and the Champion's league this year, but I see nothign on my screen for the soccer predictions game? When is this going to start? Is it going to start? I really hope so, please start this soon, it would be much appreciated. New for this season: Individual games for A' Division, B' Division, Greek Cup, Champions League and World Cup qualifiers. Also incorporated isw the old 1-2-X game (I'll need to retype the rules for that). I'm just not sure if it'll start this week or next. I posted the competition games, but if the other admins and mods decide elsewise, we'll start it next week... You can go ahead and post your predictions, and we'll take it from there... But now I saw.....the upper bar, of which you and 2ndMouse talked about (My prognostics)....... I never remarked it last year.... I find it very good the way that we can check the table of the standings of the different Divisions...by just touching the related button with the virtual finger.....that's a very good arrangement. And just a detail: Concerning the B' Division teams........ .......................... On the prognostic layout....it's written... Apollon Smyrnis... ........................... but in the B' Division Standing Table is written Apollon Athinon... Ziaka Posted September 23, 2004 Share Posted September 23, 2004 I entered the name as "Smyrnis" in the predictions game, since that's what it was written on the B' Division schedule I took from Metrosport.GR. The team standings use the name that is in the Phantis database, which still is Apollon Athens. Actually the official name of the team is Apollon Smyrnis. Last Sunday , I could still amend my prognostic for the PAO - Xanthi game....although the game was played on Saturday.... Off course I did not.... It just takes the suspense away... PS. That was an error (bug) showing the standings for A' and B' divisions in one table. It's fixed now... Just an info.... Last week we were just trying this out... We were talking about removing all of last week's predictions, and since many did take advantage of the ability to modify their prediction after the game was finished, we should probably just do that --- start the competition as of this week... In addition to individual competition standings, we now have an overall standings table as well...
