Supposedly he is negotiating with somebody from Crete to buy his shares. This must be the millionth time in the last 2 years that he has found prospective buyers. Ziaka Posted September 25, 2003 Author Share Posted September 25, 2003 Nikiforos Kissandrakis, the businessman from Crete, who was negotiating with Georgios Batatoudis to purchase the controlling majority of PAE PAOK has released an announcement to the press in which he says that he has withdrawn his offer to Georgios Batatoudis. This opens the door for the interim PAE PAOK president Giannis Goumenos to pursue his intentions of acquiring the 51% of PAE PAOK shares from Batatoudis. Looks like there is some movement behind the scenes concerning controlling majority of shares of PAE PAOK. The interesting fact is that all this is happening one day before Batatoudis has to show before a court in Thessaloniki to answer to charges that he embezzled large portion of the money from PAOK's TV rights. It apears that Batatoudis is using other tricks to keep control of PAE PAOK. That's why he transfered 30% of the shares to his friends from Interactive. When there is some movement in the PAE PAOK front office, that's when the majority shareholder Georgios Batatoudis comes out with claims that he is very close to selling his share of the team.
