Batatoudis selling again.

Nikiforos Kissandrakis, the businessman from Crete, who was negotiating with Georgios Batatoudis to purchase the controlling majority of PAE PAOK has released an announcement to the press in which he says that he has withdrawn his offer to Georgios Batatoudis. This opens the door for the interim PAE PAOK president Giannis Goumenos to pursue his intentions of acquiring the 51% of PAE PAOK shares from Batatoudis.

The latest news is that Interactive has gotten control of 30% of PAE PAOK shares from Batatoudis. Looks like there is some movement behind the scenes concerning controlling majority of shares of PAE PAOK. The interesting fact is that all this is happening one day before Batatoudis has to show before a court in Thessaloniki to answer to charges that he embezzled large portion of the money from PAOK's TV rights.

Temporary PAE PAOK president Giannis Goumenos has released a statement saying that the work of the temporary board is almost finished.

It apears that Batatoudis is using other tricks to keep control of PAE PAOK. That's why he transfered 30% of the shares to his friends from Interactive.

For the record the people that received the shares from Batatoudis are:

Dagounakis (9%)

Dimitriou (9.5%)

Keranopoulos (6.5%)

Karatsiobanis (5%)

Temporary PAE PAOK president Giannis Goumenos gave an hour long press conferrence over the weekend answering many questions concerning the situation at PAOK, and the never ending negotiations with the cancer (Batatoudis) destroying the team. The recap of the press conference is here:

Well, on January 8 the authority of the temporary PAE PAOK board expires, and everyone expects that PAE PAOK will most likely change hands then.

When there is some movement in the PAE PAOK front office, that's when the majority shareholder Georgios Batatoudis comes out with claims that he is very close to selling his share of the team. Once again he came out claiming that he has agreed to sell the team.
