I legit think Pelkas is our best player. Absolutely absurd talent levels. Just needs to get his s%$#! together. Personally, though, I'd still include him as part of a package deal for Oliveira, assuming Porto was interested. He needs a different environment, in my opinion.

Pelkas isn't young anymore, he's 25. He doesn't have the quality of Biseswar, El Kaddouri. Yes he works hard and has pace, but his touch is poor. He'll burn 2 players for pace and then his next touch will be awful and he losses possession. His finishing isn't spectacular either but then again we don't have have anyone post Prijo who is an elite finisher.

I think the way we are moving as a club, he'll end up as a depth player as he has been since the new year. That is of course unless he's moved on at the end of the season. I can't see any big money offers coming for him though given the season he's had.

Pelkas is a PAOK fan and we all love him. What we don't want for him is to become another Klaus. We have to take right decisions here. Both for the club and the players. If the guy can bring money, go somewhere else and improve his game, he has to go!

He is young in a footballing sense.. OK hes not 20 but he could still play for another 10 years easily. You can't teach natural pace or an engine/work rate like his but you can work on your touch, shooting and decision making. Regardless, i think his only really issue this season is sometimes tying to do to much.

Klaus i feel is different, i think the pressure of being the main goalscorer and captain was too much for him and as chance after chance was missed and the goals dried up, that was him done mentally sadly. I would have still liked to have seen him stay though. He only had one poor season for us and this was down to pressure and confidence IMO.

Losing Pelkas would be a big mistake IMO. He is a future club captain (already been captain 5/6 times this season) and I also think that because he was so good last season that this season he is being unfairly judged.

I must disagree, but I will still give you a smooch if we ever meet just because I don't want us to end with bad feelings

Dunfy, I must sadly provide a counterpoint re: Klaus - while his last season was maybe his worst total (or full) season, he'd spent the last several years never having a consistently good season from what I recall. He either is on fire at the beginning or the end. I think what is interesting is that we fell into some idea of there being an ineffable quality to a player's performance; that the gods of sport decide if a guy is good or bad one week or another. In actuality, professionals should be able to consistently perform at a high level, regardless of if they're sad. Something tells me that players like Akpom won't suffer from that - they will put in the hard work to succeed. Prijovic did the same - one does not stay on a "hot streak" for two years. His results were manufactured, as it should be.

Clubs agreed that we get 4,600 tickets for our fans. With a capacity of 7,442 in the Xanthi FC Arena we will have 61.8% of the tickets. And as there probably will be more PAOKtzides in the stadium between the homefans we will have a kind of homegame extra.

The difference between Pelkas and Klaus is that Pelkas worked hard to make improvements in his play and will probably continue to do so, while Klaus once he got his big contract from Ivan was more likely to be found in Athenian clubs womanizing, drinking and smoking, which led to his downfall from PAOK.

Nice one. Hopefully they all behave themselves!!!

There is always Vierinha to play on the wings (right or left) and Giannoulis taking his spot as LB.

Hell the way Vieirnha is playing I would even start him as dekari if Pelkas/El Kaddouri can't play.

I would like Paschalakis to shoot a penalty in one of the games before the season ends.

All Athenian crew as far as refs is concerned. I expect another atrocious display as we have seen in Agrinio by the refs.

Pelkas and El Kaddouri are taking part in practice. At least one of them will start in my opinion.

Limnios is officially out for this game.

Also the idiot undersecretary of sports Vasiliadis banned organized sale of tickets to PAOK fans for the game despite the fact that already over 4,600 tickets have been sold and distributed to PAOK fans. Whether he likes it or not, Xanti stadium will resemble a small Toumba on Sunday.
