Rockafeller Skank
I know that Retsos has his own thread but there is a talk about Kitsiou here. Retsos spends most of his time at RB at Leverkusen. I think he should be our RB since Bakakis ain;t cutting it. At least versus better opposition where we need to be more cautious and need better defensive players.

If he continues to progress in that position and considering he plays at the highest level, definitely can make a case for that.
paokarag4
Leonidas Stergiou is a 17 year old center back playing in Switzerland with St.Gallen. He has been in a starter in 18 of their 20 league matches so far and his team sit on top of the Swiss Super league. He is born and raised in Switzerland to a Serbian Mother and a Greek father (according to wikipedia) EPO is aware of him and is apparently interested in him. Can JVS pull it off again and convince another Greek aboard to play with the Ethniki? It'll be tricky as this kid appears to have the world at his feet at only 17 playing regular senior football at a decent level. It should also be noted he is a Swiss youth international from under 15's-Under 19's. https://www.novasports.gr/podosfairo/super-league/article/1731870/stergiou-to-paidi-thauma-tou-ellinikou-podosfairou https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leonidas_Stergiou

paokarag4
Fountas has continued his form coming out of lock-down, last weekend he scored the fourth goal and assisted the first and second in a 0-4 away win against Sturm Gratz. Mid-week he came off the bench to score the winner against LASK, moving Rapid into 2nd position. His goal comes from a defensive error, you can see it from around 3.07 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w9auoG7DvaY Edited June 12, 2020 by paokarag4
Dean97
He is on fire like to see where he plays for the national team. It seems as though he is succeeding at ST. He can easily play CAM and Wing. A good player who has turned his career around and is only 24-25 years old.
paokarag4
Another assist for him over the weekend Rapid won 2-1, he was subbed off after 70 minutes. They play again tomorrow so hopefully he continue his remarkable season. Surely he's deserving of his own topic at this point?

For me, to merit a thread, a player has to have played an impactful role with the national team and/or meet at least one of the following criteria: 1. Belongs to a very high profile club (i.e. Mavropanos at Arsenal) 2. Earns consistent minutes at a club in a top 5 league (England, Spain, Germany, Italy, France) 3. Capped consistently and plays a considerable role at a club from a second tier league (i.e. Netherlands, Portugal) Fountas has been capped 3 times by the NT with zero impact, and plays in a mid-tier league. Albeit he is having a great season from what I am reading. I will gladly make him his own thread if that is what members want.
Alphonse
I didn't think there was such criteria tbh Argy... the guy has been on fire and totally deserves it, I was about to it... please do
paokarag4
If it helps his case, he again scored the winner today in Rapid's 0-1 win over Hartberg. That moves Rapid 7 points clear of 3rd placed LASK and within 5 points of 1st placed RB Salzburg. They look to certain to participate in next seasons Champions league (qualifiers) and are still in the hunt for the title. That's 17 goals this season to go along with his 5 assists (in the league) Apparently he was subbed off with an injury in the 2nd half but not sure if that's true/how serious it is. Dutch Eagle
Giakoumakis just scored three goals in the first game of the season for VVV in the 3-5 win at FC Emmen. He scored a genuine hattrick in the second half after trailing 2-0. Emmen then equalised 3-3. Giakoumakis was subbed out in ‘87. In ‘90 and ‘90+4 VVV clinched the win.
