paokarag4
We've been in the group with Aris (had to be) Ergotelis and Aititios Spata. We'll play Aris at Toumba and the other 2 away https://www.paokfc.gr/nea/20180918-o-omilos-tou-kupellou-elladas/
Blackhawk
The bad thing is that the game with Aris is next week (probably Sep. 26) and falls in between the SL games against AEX and Olympiakos. Since this game is pretty much meaningless I would do a big rotation in that game preventing injuries and certain red cards to key players. Yiankos
Lucescu has to do rotation. This cup game is almost meaningless. Aris will play as it's a final and as Christo said they will probably try to provoke us to get red cards. That will be a nightmare. I would say bring on the second team for that match. They should be able to smash Aris and they will be also getting their chance to play. Kitsiou-Malezas-Crespo-Tosca Canas-Shakhov Warda-Pelkas-Karelis Akpom Then depending on how the match goes, El Kaddouri or Biseswar comes in for Pelkas, Pontus for Canas or Shakhov, and Limnios for Warda or Karelis.
Blackhawk
My biggest worry is injuries and provocations for our players to be carded. After all on Sunday after that game we play against the team that is financing them.

Now, OSFP has a team that has one purpose, not to let PAOK win the league. Let's protect our team and don't fall in their traps.
Dutch Eagle
Ach re bananarepublic Elladastan. Three games of the Greek Cup are postponed (AEX-Lamia, Panaitolikos-Panathinaikos and Panionios-Larisa) because there is no broadcasting. So what?!?!?! If it is not possible to play a game without camera’s?!?!?! How on earth did we manage to play games in the 60s?!?!!? I do not hear anyone talking about fair play. The chartini will go chavale and relax to MD 5 while we (and OK the Gavs) must play a game before starting this derby. Playing game after game in the weekend and during the week. Where is the halifi when you need him?!?!?! Edited September 24, 2018 by Dutch Eagle
pash
No chance of this affecting us, I hope?
Dutch Eagle
Again there will be games postponed. This time because of the games in the SL that are postponed to Monday October 29th. Our game against Ergotelis is postponed to a day not known yet as we are scheduled to play again on November 3rd for SL against Atromitos. And so there is not the obligatory 3 days gap between the fixtures. We have another problem as our schedule is stuffend already with our EL-games. Maybe we can play on the day the Ethniki plays for the NL and order our internationals to stay as qualification for the next stage is most unlikely ?? Dutch Eagle
Brilliant. EPO announced that the game against Ergotelis will be on November 14th at 15:00 EEST. What a bunch of nitwits. We might miss Tosca, Prijovic, Pelkas, Paschalakis, Warda and Varela as all countries have duties for the Nations League of the Africa Cup of Nations. And all the countries have the right to claim the players. And if a player refuses to go to his National team the FA of that country is entitled to have him suspended for the game of PAOK. Rezili. We can beat Ergotelis with the remaining players. Of course we can but if if this is the way EPO wants to sell her product ...... Hope there is no channel wanting to broadcast this match. pash
Tailor made to shoot us in the foot. So we'd be looking at something like this? --Rey-- --Matos--Kacheridi--Crespo--Vieirinha-- --Wernbloom--Canas-- --Jaba--Biseswar--El Kaddouri-- --Akpom-- I'd assume Limnios MIGHT be called up, as would Karelis. It leaves us very thin on the wings. Perhaps if we run out of wingers completely, Kitsiou would be pushed up there (or Vieirinha, with Malezas starting as CB?). I don't think any of our youth players should be trusted for a game that we basically have to win.
Yiankos
Ούτως ή άλλως πρέπει να γίνει rotation σ' αυτό το παιχνίδι. Η 11άδα που έβαλε ο Πασχ είναι υπέρ αρκετή για να κερδίσει τον Εργοτέλη.

Blackhawk
Don't forget Aggelos will be the coach of the NT, so he might be persuaded not to call up some of our players. In any case we will be missing some of our U-21 NT players as well since they have a play-off game against Austria for Euro, which means Limnios and Siabanis will not be available. Athens4
Again, there are only three lower division teams in the next round. Had the retard neo-Greeks organised a cup like England or Germany I am sure there would be a few more to make it more romantic/exciting. Anybody know when the draw is?
