Blackhawk
Out of the 53 eligible teams twelve decided not to take part in the draw and the competition. Guess they could not afford the entry fee.
Dutch Eagle
The draw for round 2 will be held on Monday 27th at 15:00 EEST. 21 teams are most likely left. I assume 11 will get a bye and the other 10 will play a tie in order to get to the 16 teams that will face teams from the Football League in round 3. It would make sense that Megas Alexandros Trikalon Imathias won’t get a bye as they had/have one in round 1 that is played tomorrow. But it is Greece and EPO. Well, you know. Soprano76
All in all, no major "giant slayings" in the group stages. Perhaps the most surprising results was Gamma Ethniki side OF Ierapetra getting a draw with two SuperLeague teams. The round of 16 will include 13 SuperLeague teams and 3 Football League teams (NPS Volos, Ergotelis, Panachaiki).

Soprano76
Great showings from Panachaiki and Kissamikos. As always, Greece does things ass backwards. Having a group stage and two-leg ties almost eliminates underdog runs like in other domestic cups or USA March Madness. A shame.

Dutch Eagle
The final probably will be played a week earlier then scheduled (11/5 instead of 18/5). The four remaining clubs don’t like the idea of waiting two weeks after the last MD of the SL (5/5). I think they have a very good point as the winner and maybe the other finalist need to be fresh in July for their European campaign. Not to mention that it looks like EPO does everything to thwart the clubs instead of being there for its members and supporting/growing the product.
