Tsitsipas is the first Greek in an ATP-final since 1973 when Nicholas Kalogeropoulos reached the final in Des Moines.

Here is his reaction after his victory in the semi:

He is now playing the final against Rafael Nadal and is trailing 6-2, 3-0 at this very moment.

Tsitsipas continues his good streak. After beating Pablo Andújar, (#1 seed) Kevin Anderson and Roberto Carballés Buena he reached the semis of the Estoril Open in Portugal. This guarantees him 90 points on the ATP-ranking at least and also 25,515 euro. His opponent is not known yet as the other quarter final is played at this very moment.

Great result
In the second round he also beat 7th seed Domenic Thiem.
Doesn't get any easier for him, he plays the world no.3 Alexander Zverev in the quarters.

This kid looks to be the real deal, he just keeps pulling results and results and going deep into tournaments.

Also not to nit pick, but blackhawk Djokovic is currently ranked 10 in the world. He did win Wimbledon though just last month so he's getting back to his best

Another final for Tsitsipas. He has beaten last years US Open finalist and this years Wimbledon finalist Kevin Anderson with 6-7, 6-4 & 7-6 (9-7). Next opponent will be  probably again Rafael Nadal, who plays his semi against Russian Kachanov.

Tsitsipas has already won this tournament against 4 opponents of the ATP top 10. Could be 5 in a row.

Great for him to get his first ATP level title under his belt. He has had a great year and deserves a win!

2 tournaments left for him this year, the Basel indoors which is on this week and then the Paris masters. Hopefully he continues his good form on from Stockholm and can go deep in both tournaments

Tsitsipas (#1 seed) will play the final of the Next Gen Finals in Milan on Sunday. His opponent is Alex de Minaur from Australia (#2 seed).

This tournament is for the best players in the ranking that are 21 or younger and has some other rules like 4 games to win a set. As Tsitsipas is born in 1998 he will be eligible to enter this tournament one more year if his ranking allows him to.

The champion collects USD 235,000.00 prize money. The runner-up USD 130,000.00. As both won al their games the winner will earn a bonus of USD 24,000.00 being undefeated champion. No ATP-points will be rewarded but a ATP-victory can be added to the credit of the winner.

This is the cutest thing I've seen in a while. Potential power couple here

Team Greece lost to Great Britain 2-1 and beat USA 2-1 in the group stage of the Hopman cup. Tomorrow we play Switzerland in the final match of the group stage, a win could send us through to the final. Perhaps of more interest Tsitsipas will take on Federer for the first time in what will be a great warm up for him leading into the Australian open

He has backed up the Marseille title by making the final in Dubai. He came through a tough semi against the inform Gael Monfils coming from a set and a break down to win 4-6, 7-6, 7-6. The victory means he'll be in the top 10 for the first time in his career!!

He'll take on Federer in the final later tonight

Tsitsipas reached the final of the ATP in Miami in the men’s doubles. This is the first time he reached a final in the doubles. His partner in this tournament is Wesley Koolhof, a Dutch tennis player. Don’t know if their partnerships is a coincidence but for those who do not know him: Koolhof is the son of former Dutch football international Jurrie Koolhof, who passed away last January. And Stefanos is the grandson of former  Soviet international footballer Sergei Salnikov.
