Tornadoes

Recommended Posts

Yes back in 2010. I was stuck at a gas station on I-94 in North Dakota (west of Bismarck). I stopped at the gas station to get gas and while there the sirens went off and the police closed the expressway. We had to wait until they re-opened it. We could see the funnel cloud in the distance. It missed us by several miles.

LOL! No, I would be terrified if I ever see a large, violent tornado in my path. I just upload some pics so you guys can see them. I never want to be a storm chaser. Tornadoes can strike anywhere around the world, including Greece.

One F-2 tornado hit a city (Ilias) not real far from my birthplace in Patras back in 2009.

That last picture was from Tuscaloosa, Alabama. It was a devastating tornado that destroyed most of the city and took 64 lives away. So sad, 2011 was a very active year for tornadoes in the United States.
