pash
Can we request that AEK buy their best player before this one?
Blackhawk
Wonder if Lambrou will get a playing time for Panionios.
pash
He's been getting subbed in around the 60-70 minute mark from what I've been seeing. In addition to Campos being injured, Malezas (who won't be in this squad anyway) twisted his ankle and Matos had a slight knee injury vs AEK. Blackhawk
I am pretty sure Ivic will not shuffle the lineup too much due to the Prijovic injury. I expect him to field somethin like this: ------------------ Glykos ----------------- Matos -- Varela -- Crespo -- Leovac ------- Cimirot ------------ Canas ------ Mystakidis --- Biseswar --- Henrique ----------------- Klaus ----------------
pash
I think that's probably what we'll see. Overall, I'll just be happy to see Canas in the lineup. What I'd prefer to see is a 4-4-1-1, with Mistakidis playing centrally. Put Henrique on that wing, and if necessary take out the CF if (when) he fails to show up and leave Mistakidis as a loan CF. ---------------- Glykos -----------------Matos - Varela - Crespo - Leovac------- Cimirot --------- Canas ------Henrique --- --- Pelkas --------------Mistakidis-------------- ----------------- Klaus ----------------
Blackhawk
I don't think Mystakidis would be as effective in center, and definitively not as a lone CF. Perhaps as a second forward in a 4-4-2 formation, or as Boston pointed out in another thread, why not go with a 4-3-3 formation: Henrique and Mysta on the wings? It will be an interesting match. Reports are that Panionios might be missing their two CB's, but their midfield is very strong with Siopis and Korbos.
pash
I'll take Canas over either of them. Mistakidis played as center during his hot streak. Didn't do badly. The thing about Pelkas as a "false nine" is that Ivic is obsessed with height. This is why Pereyra wouldn't get time, even though he was clearly the better CF to Klaus/Koulouris. I can't see him being moved up even farther without having someone tall to play off of.
pash
Warda might be injured now as well. Left training in pain - quads.
Blackhawk
Warda might be out for two weeks. At least there is a NT break in between. Also, Ivic is apparently thinking of starting Brkic in place of Glykos.

Dutch Eagle
Prijovic, Warda and Campos are injured. Malezas suspended. The 19 Ivic picked for this game are: Glykos, Brkic, Matos, Kitsiou, Leovac, Crespo, Varela, Pouggouras, Cañas, Kace, Cimirot, Sakhov, Pelkas, Biseswar, Enrique, Mystakidis, Koulouris, Athanasiadis and Deligiannidis. pash
We should still win this one. Nice to see Deligiannidis and Pouggouras back in the 19. As long as Canas gets the start, I'll be happy. We've been hurting with him.
pash
Here's their list of players. No Lamprou (unsurprisingly). Savvidis makes his return to Toumba.
pash
Bizarre lineup: Glykos Matos Varela Crespo Leovac Canas Cimirot Shakhov Henrique Klaous Biseswar Back to Shakhov as an ineffective #10? Biseswar as the world's slowest winger?
BostonThanatos
I don't get it. How do you prefer Biseswar over Mystakidis as your winger? This is a very Tudor-esque line-up. Edited March 19, 2017 by BostonThanatos

pash
Aklautoi has another stream. I got the same error on bianconero, but my guess is that their site is getting overwhelmed by people logging on. It usually clears up after ten or twenty minutes. -edit- And now that I wrote that, bianconero is working again.
