Just goes to show the talent is there if you have the scouts. That's fine if you're aiming to not challenge for titles. Paok has too many players that seem to not fit together. Idk why but I always get that feeling with Paok, like the team is never at 100% chemistry. Every season we buy a heap of players. Of course there isn't chemistry and I don't expect to see any consistency of any kind. PAOK should hope its only 3 points that get docked because if its 5 points then the pressure is really on for that final playoff spot which will be between PAOK, Platanias and Tripoli.... I think we played much better in the second half, where Panionios with three chances scored twice. I think all these injuries took quite a toll on the team. It was quite evident in today's game. Bananas Posted April 4, 2016 Share Posted April 4, 2016 Regarding the team conceding goals, it's been a common theme through out the season that we generally out play the opposition, but yet manage to concede goals from the opposition having fewer chances than us. This should not be surprising when you essentially have a young squad. When Klaus is one of your more senior players ... well what do you expect. What is surprising is that we as fans expect consistency and "steel" (ie. the ability to grind out results) from a young squad. It just isn't going to happen. Not yet anyway. Maybe in a few seasons but of course that won't happen because by then we'll have a completely new roster. The table doesn't lie. We are 5th for a reason. There is no one that would take this leadership role. teke817 Posted April 6, 2016 Share Posted April 6, 2016 @PAOKSYD @Blackhawk Tzavellas has been good enough at CB to get a NT call-up as well as getting scouted by Serie A clubs Sassuolo (twice!) and Atalanta. He may have been a LB most of his career, but he's too slow and can't carry the ball well enough to play the position against legit top-flight competition (imagine him guarding Candreva or Cuadrado in Serie A? Ha!). Vitor was the travesty against Panionios, and in general the team defended poorly in their own 1/3.
