pash, new gyro spot opening in Roslindale soon.  Huge PAOK fan is opening it up...we gotta go support.

You guys have any gyro places in Boston that serves pork gyro? We have none in Chicago. Had to make a stop in NYC to get one on my recent trip to Rhode Island.

Has anyone every ordered something at sportarena.gr? How is the service and biggest question: is it original stuff?

Don't know why I ask it here you are the most friendly of the 'enemy' fans i suppose.

I think they claim they're real, but judging by the prices, I would say you're better off buying directly from the team.

Yeah... The Feisty Greek in Norwood, MA does all pork.  I think Gyro City in Boston, and Zo's in Boston also do pork.

They have everything.

The prices is what bothers me too.

Adidas site has a nameless jersey for 85euro but on Sportarena its with name 79 euro.

I ordered from them in the past. Their service and the merchandise was quality, but as you note it is overpriced, including high shipping rates.

Gyro City is my go-to, i think the guy who runs the place is from skiathos and he also has a kid from thessaloniki working in there. so of course they have the authentic product.

but what's this about a place in roslindale? with a PAOKtzi running the show? finally a place to congregate for games?

My koumbaro told me there's a gyro place opening right next to the Greek fish market in the square.  I know who the guy is that's supposedly opening....  I'll keep you guys posted.   Where in Boston are you at?

I haven't gone to gyro city yet...I just hate cutting through Boston, and whenever I do, going through the Fenway is always a pain in the ass.

Roslindale is in the ass end of nowhere. This is where that Greek International Foods Market is located, right?

i live in the south end these days. it looks easier to get to roslindale from here than it did from allston. orange line all the way to forest hills followed by a bus ride. often worth a visit to that neighborhood anyhow--where else around here can you find real galaktoboureko and such? short of baking it yourself...

You clearly don't have a clue what you're talking about....WEST Roxbury .... not Roxbury.   Where the hell are you originally from? Minnesota or something?  And gdmango, are you FROM MA? Or are you a student?  Are there any native Bostonians in here?

I admit that I was mistaken, I found some pictures of West Roxbury to make up for that. Please note that these are actual pictures.

The kafenio is the gyradiko you were talking about? If this guy somehow gets matches there, I will literally pay rent.

No the Kafenio is where all the old grumpy Greeks hang out and play Birimba, Bida, Thanasi and complain about their shitty kids and wives.  That's upstairs from the proposed gyradiko...hahah
