Warda got subbed out late in the second half. He was....okay. A couple of decent runs, but very poor passing in the first half. Not their worst player.

He worked hard, as did the whole of the Egyptian team and deserved a result but as you said his passing was particularly poor.

Egypt no doubt missed Salah, when they would brake they had no conviction or pace. There was a goal or two their to be had against a poor Uruguay had Mo been playing

Prijovic didn't start day, Serbia just scored the 0-1 in the 57th minute. Hopefully we'll see him get some time today.

Prijo got away with it. Stupid action. Should have been a red card but luckily got yellow.

FT 0-1 for Serbia btw. Superb free kick Kolarov.

Would have been a harsh red IMO. But yeah he got lucky. That earlier attempt by Kostic was incredibly stupid, should have passed to the open Prijo

He came in a turbulent time for us. We wasted even Berbatov at that time. All Savvidis' years before last year were quite unsuccessful because of poor choices. The truth is that he brought some quality players, but it was never consistent.

Warda came in as a sub in 64th minute, but did not show much. By that time the game was already decided.

Warda subbed in today against Russia with score 3-0 in favor of Russia. FT 3-1 so he himself won 1-0 and drew against Uruguay as he was subbed out when it was 0-0.🙂

Flopped around a bit, had one or two good crosses. Underwhelming performance. Let the Turks splurge.

Serbia leading Switzerland 1:0 in 4th minute with Mitrovic goal. As long as Mitrovic scores I don't see Prijovic getting much (if any) playing time.

If they win, good chance they'll rest Mitrovic for the last game of the group stage.

You're probably right. I would think that Prijo would gets some playing time against his birth country.

Serbia is so dangerous on set pieces. Could have been up 2:0 by now.

Hell of a goal to tie it by Switzerland. Equally impressive dokari a few minutes later. Clear penalty not given for Serbia though.

That was a clear penalty for Serbians. No VAR on that one? Serbia kind of self-destructed in the second half giving the Albanians the win.

If the Albanians want to show they are Albanians why they don't go play for Albania?

Then they can shove the eagles to their backdoor entrances and play for damn Switzerland!

Warda came in just before halftime, game is currently 1-1 vs Saudi Arabia

Egypt lost the game in injury time. Warda will get about 10 days of vacation and then report to the camp, although I believe he will be sold before that happens.
