Lost 5:4 on penalty kicks. Regular game ended 0:0. I watched most of the game. It was quite exciting. Both teams could have won during regular time as both had good scoring chances.

In all the Greek Cup excitement we should also note that our U20 team won the Superleague Championship. We finished 4 points ahead of Panathinaikos and 7 points ahead of Olympiakos.

Job well done by the youngsters and Pablo Garcia.

I believe Garcia also mentioned in an interview the other day, something along the lines of "why get all these players from abroad when we have so many here?" Damn right, Pablo.

I'm not sure if this is news or not, but Garcia signed on for two more years as youth coach. His assistant will be Schnauzer (who I thought was heading up the U17s on his own before?).

Below make up the roster. Balogiannis is with the first team for now but should be returning once we sort out the transcriptions. Don't recognize any other names below beyond Giaksis (the Panserraikos player we just got).

Our U19 will be playing in the UEFA Youth League Domestic Path.

This path involves the domestic youth champions of the 32 best-ranked associations in the 2017 UEFA association coefficient rankings (the same rankings used to decide access to the 2018/19 UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League).

Vacancies in the domestic champions path (because a club is instead eligible for the UEFA Champions League path, for example Atlético and Inter) are filled by the domestic youth champion of the next best-ranked association (in the above cases, Moldova and Iceland).

First Round draw: AEL Limassol (CYP) v PAOK (GRE). Games to be played October 3rd and 24.

Second Round draw: AEL Limassol (CYP)/PAOK (GRE) v Minsk (BLR)/ Illés Akadémia (HUN). Games to be played November 7th and 28th.

Good luck to Pablo Garcia and his lads.

PAOK won 0-1. Goal Gaitanidis.

PAOK now will face a runner-up of the champions League path as this Path merges with the domestic champions path. PAOK will play at home on the 19th of 20th of February 2019. The winner of these ties will play knock-out games with all the group winners of the champions League path.
