pash
I was wondering why I was still seeing him in videos, I'm glad he stayed on and didn't move to Veria.
BostonThanatos
He was supposed to be the coach (at Veria), until Vryzas went there and brought his homeboy Georgiadis with him...Vryzas and Ivic didn't have the best relationship, from what I hear. pash
Some pics posted of the U17s vs Panthrakikos. Good to see that Arnesen is paying attention. And that Garcia is still alive.
BostonThanatos
My mothers Godson plays for the K14 I think. He's been in the youth system for 3-4 years.
pash
Below is a link to a very interesting article, framed through a view of Shakhtar's youth setup (among many, many more things). Somehow I doubt we're this organized. http://victoryjournal.com/stories/the-boys-from-donetsk In less than two years working together, they have overseen Shakhtar?s rise to number five in a 2015 ranking of Europe?s most prolific academies. Though that ranking is aided by Shakhtar?s ability to place its graduates in weaker domestic leagues, it does prove that Funderat and Cardoso can nearly guarantee any boy who joins the academy a path to play football for a living, instead of the increasingly dire alternative. Is this our future? The poorer Greece gets, the more attractive these opportunities look.

Pontos
I haven't seen him play at all but from what I've read he seems to be one of our brightest talents. Similar to that which Pelkas received before his senior debut.

RED SHERIFF
is this the same group that a few years ago beat Barca....then Gala and some Russian team 9-0 or 10-0?
Dutch Eagle
Don't know, RS. I do know we have a good academy. Would be great if a few of those kids make it to the first squad like Pelkas.
Nea Bafra
is this the same group that a few years ago beat Barca....then Gala and some Russian team 9-0 or 10-0? I recall one of the K15 teams being good, but obviously those kids would have aged out. What is clear though that at some levels we have decent coaching.

pash
I remember what you're talking about - this happened two seasons ago, and the kids were very young. This was a tournament that was sponsored by a Russian team, I think? I'm trying to find the article(s) about it now. The squad would definitely still be with the team, it was recent. pash
It may have been Lokobol 2011 (which our K11s competed in). I can only find one reference to this online: http://www.paokfc.gr/en/paok-academy-en/tournoua/ <-- looks like the U12s beat Barcelona + won the Lokobol that year http://www.paokfc.gr/en/paok-academy-en/academy-en-parts/u11-en-nchc/roster-u11-en/ <-- Sznaucner's kid, btw, looks like a total badass
