Superleague has announced that it is seeking bids for the international rights for their games.

Here are the details:

http://08c0d41abab903a6a29e-5e91952c8074a6a4a4b1b4b8b070de43.r83.cf3.rackcdn.com/00IjVjsyJZnFcTQtyHAOBymVKxNJRUmM.pdf

The rights are for the home games of the 15 out of the 16 Superleague teams. PAOK is not part of the bidding process. The rights are for all international rights excluding Greece, Cyprus and Albania.

Just shows you how disorganized Superleague is. The season starts in two weeks and only now they are seeking bids for the rights. The bids have to be received by August 14, 2017

Despite the lack of signed contract, all Superleague games this weekend will be televised by novasport in Greece. It's anybody's guess if the games will be available outside of Greece.

However there is an emergency Superleague meeting on Friday where all the problems could be resolved.

Superleague and NOVA agreed to a new 2-year deal for the TV rights in Greece. The collective agreement is worth 30 million Euro and includes the 15 out of the 16 teams. PAOK has opted out of the deal. Instead they signed an exclusive deal with NOVA for one season. It basically means that all the games will be available on NOVA.

This coming weekend NOVA will televise all the games in Greece, Cyprius and Albania.

The above deal does not include the international television rights. That is a separate deal, which has not been announced yet, but may be in place, since Sport Plus is scheduled to televise 4 games in the USA, Canada and Australia this weekend. Will antenna be showing any games in AUS/USA?

The deal has not been announced yet, but I think in the end they will.

I just read that PAOK agreed for our games to be televised on Nova, and that goes for both in Greece and the rest of the world.
Does that mean that paok home games will be on sports plus for those of us in Australia?
