Euro2004
APOEL visit the fortress that is the Donbass Arena as they visit Shakhtar Donetsk. The Ukranians have won all 6 of their home games in the league this year, scoring 17 and conceding just 2 goals in the process! They have some super players, like Srna, Luiz Adriano, Jadson, Willian, Chygrynsky, etc. I can't see anything other than a comfortable Shakhtar win, but if APOEL managed to get a draw there they'd be in an amazing position! :gr:
Irlandos
APOEL have been written off for this encounter by most European "experts" but we all know how Cypriot football has progressed lately! I think the yellow-blues will give Shakhtar a run for the money! :)

Euro2004
APOEL's goal was lovely and even more importantly, what a fantastic result! :gr: From what i've seen in the highlights APOEL were absolutely hammered, but Chiotis' presence in goal, APOEL's belief and their ability to move the ball with excellent fluidity in the final third is what helped earn the point. APOEL are top of the group. Amazing team pld won drawn lost GF GA pts APOEL 2 1 1 0 3 2 4 Zenit 2 1 0 1 4 3 3 Porto 2 1 0 1 3 4 3 Shakhtar 2 0 1 1 2 3
Sharpos
This team is not playing for third spot. It's now a clear possibility that we could have the first ever Cypriot team playing in the knockouts! Bravo adelfia! :gr:
Euro2004
We have to be honest, it's not impossible for APOEL to lose all the remaining games so it's important not to get carried away. APOEL need another win for sure. If they can somehow get a point in Porto it would be great but rather than draw against Porto twice it would be better to win one lose one so as to get 3 points. So the home games are vital now. APOEL need at least another win
