Irlandos
G Porto Shakhtar Donetsk Zenit APOEL APOEL can go through! Good luck to the Champions of Cyprus! :)
Euro2004
I disagree, i think this is a horrendous draw. I'd have even wanted group H (barca, milan, bate) over this one. We have to be realistic, APOEL would never have finished top 2 in any group, so we were hoping for a rubbish pot 3 team so we can at least compete for a europa league spot. Whereas now we're almost guaranteed last spot
Sharpos
I do not think they will end up last in that group. They have a great chance to make an upset this year!
Euro2004
I doubt APOEL will win a game to be honest. I expect a very difficult night at Shakhtar, everywhere else APOEL will be competitve but at best can hope for 3 draws at home in my opinion
Euro2004
Yes another factor to point out how good a team APOEL is. Slovan Bratislava, who were dominated by APOEL in the round before meeting Wisla and beaten 0-2 in their home country, have just knocked ROMA out of the Europa League with a 1-2 agg win! Irlandos
In my opinion, APOEL had a tougher group than this their first time around (Porto, Atletico Madrid and Chelsea) and managed fine, thank you! If they play as they did 2 years ago, they are THROUGH! :)
Euro2004
I agree the last group was certainly tougher, but i think APOEL were slightly stronger too. Also Cypriot teams are more likely to cope on in the hot climates of Spain and Portugal compared to Russia and Ukraine. But let's wait and see, i really hope you're right
