Omonoia9 Posted August 25, 2011 Share Posted August 25, 2011 Now it's the return leg, and 90 minutes stand between Omonoia and a spot in the UEFA Europa League group stage. After a 2-1 win back in Cyprus, now Red Bull Salzburg will make their final stand in Austria. Last year, a 1-1 draw in Lefkosia was crushed by the Austrian side with a 4-2 win that sent Omonoia back to Cyprus with their tails between their legs. Can trifyllara get their revenge this time? Omonoia9 Posted August 26, 2011 Author Share Posted August 26, 2011 Another year, another near miss for Omonoia, and for the second straight year, it's at the hands of Red Bull Salzburg. Martin Hinteregger's goal gives them the 1-0 win in Salzburg and the 2-2 draw on aggregate and the Austrian side goes through on Alan's away goal back in Cyprus.
