AEK Transfer Talk

According to reports, Melissanidis and Majstorovic had a 2 hour long meeting today to discuss the transfer policy for January. They've agreed that the team needs a minimum of 2 players in January to try and improve the squad. No names, or positions have been mentioned, but logically a central midfielder and Striker are the first priorities. Personally, I think we need at least 4 players to try and save this season, but they're "the experts." Anyways, Morais has requested that the signings be completed ASAP so that they can play in the first game after the break on January 3rd against Panaitolikos. It's also great that Bajavic is less and less involved.

Barbosa did not adjust well to life in Dubai and his team is looking to get rid of him for whatever they can get. For the love of God, please correct the mistake we made this summer and bring him back. Especially if they plan on getting rid of Platellas, we could really use a quality winger.

Well, we signed Panagiotis Tsinontas from Levadiakos on a free transfer for the summer. He was one of the two best Greek goalies in the league last year along with Barkas. This year, he hasn't played since he refused to sign a new contract with Levadiakos. This signing has no effect on any of the other expected transfers to be made for January; it just made sense to sign him because of his ability and because Anestis has been a dumpster fire. Unless Anestis gets another chance to play and shows significant improvement, he is gone after the season, and Tsinontas will compete with Barkas for the starting spot.

And most importantly, under Majstorovic we are signing players quickly without any news coming out to the media, and none of the s%$#! Milovanovic did. Under Milovanovic, he would give interviews saying "we are very close to signing Ibisevic" (for example) and then not only would we not sign the player he mentioned, but we would not get anyone. Majstorovic is clearly much more professional in his work. It comes back to the serious no bullshit attitude of the Swedes.

I really dont get the Platellas release, if they are planning on signing a better player whos has proven to be better then fair enough, however why release him and signing a South American or Swedish version of Platellas. He was doing no harm to the team, he provided depth, no lets release him for free.

Starting to lose patience with the PAE over such stupid decisions.

Put some money into the team and sign good players if your going to release players who were crucial to our return to the top flight, Cordero is another example, instead we leave ourselves short in certain positions or sign players who dont cost anything because nobody else wants them..., and whats happening with the stadium? Its getting beyond a joke at this stage. We wont win a title for as long as we're at OAKA even if its another 100 years the place is a graveyard eith no atmosphere id rather play in a 10k stadium and it be filled with Original going crazy creating some sort of atmosphere and intimidation.
