Euro2004 Posted February 9, 2011 Share Posted February 9, 2011 I saw the whole game. Cyprus were pretty poor. Everyone was insistent on playing short passes in a very congested midfield, giving the ball away constantly. In the last 20 or so minutes Cyprus were the better team and looked like scoring. The only thing i can say which will give Cypriot gans comfort is that Sweden worked harder, suggesting that Cyprus could have put in a much better performance if they too had approached the game more seriously. Nonetheless times ahead look quite worrying because when Okkas and Konstantinou step aside the front line will look terrible. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
