Violence in Greek football

Recommended Posts

The truth, there are two ways.

1-Make these actions unacceptable and punishable. As punishment, people must do community service to clean up Greece or something.

2-It needs to come from the owners of the teams. The only owner that tried to stop it was Nikolaidis and he was crucified for it. The owners (all owners) need to get together and eliminate this.

Why can't EPO enforce some of its own rules?

Force everyone to buy tickets in advance, credit card only, and have strict assignments of seats. Force them to disclose personal details.

Forbid last-minute ticket sales at the gate.

Give discounts for families instead of organised members.

Eliminate group sales.

Any thoughts?

DO what they do in england some of the worst hooligans in the world but yet there is peace in the stands why they in force you step one foot on the pitch you get fined jailed and expelled from entering the football grounds for life.

In Greece, if little Yianni got busted for something wrong, Theio Niko would call his friends and tell him to set Yianni free.

...and again this topic is timely...

I know the Greek state with its pathetic stand for "freedom" will do absolutely nothing but it's nice to talk about solutions.

What can/should/must be done to eliminate violence from Greek sports and Greek life in general?
