pao123
we drew roma...we play at home for the first match..i think we may be able to pull something off, i would have prefered a differnt team but its no easy draw but not the hardest either.. cyberfish
Good result I think. We should play two memorable games. If we go through it would be considered exceeding expectations, but elimination would not be out of the question.
drakos13
Not really a good draw at all, quite a bad one. But it depends on the team in March. They could be different, better or worse, but I think this is the end of the line for what has been a horrible European season.
Euro2004
Roma are certainly beatable over 2 legs. They're always involved in a lot of goals so we can get goals but we need to strengthen at the back. If we get through we play the winner of Standard Liege vs Salzburg. This is a great opportunity to make the last 8! We need a defender (they're a fast team) so i'm hoping for a quick defender. It's a tough draw but if we in the champions league now we'd consider this a very good draw. We shouldn't fear them.
Irlandos
Tough luck! :o I wish PAO the best in this encounter of the two most historic cities in all Europe. :)
XXX-18T
We can do this! We beat Inter in Milan!
athinaios
We play well against Italians. It's a good draw. They were much easier teams but at this stage you have to be serious and play to the best of your abilities. Strangely, I feel that the better PAO's doing in Greece the better in euro play too. Anyway, lots can happen for both teams between now and mid-Feb 2010.
HOLLYWOOD
if we can buy a quality defender in this transfer period and get rid of some of the rubish i think we win both ties. If the team is to stay like this (no transfers) its going to be 35%/65% we can go through
Genome
No no no! No inferiority complex! It's 50-50! You took out Inter at home as said above, and not only that but imho (and it hurts to say because I would rather see my beloved AEK do well) you have the best squad in Greece at the moment. Like you said HOLLYWOOD, get rid of some crappy ones and get in some good ones and this should be yours, although no walk in the park!
Akritis_1944
Prospects are 50-50 to go through. Mentality of the players must be right. You lost against 'Pathetico' Madrid when we all saw how average they are.
NYPAO13
with this defense, forget it. you get Greek teams giving us fits. Need at least 1 more QUALITY DEFENDER!!!
GS1905
This will be similar to the Atletico qualification tie... PAO will threaten but the Giallorrossi will prevail... How about us drawing Atletico by the way ??

drakos13
Roma's form is red hot now, 2-1 win in Torino over Juventus.... with out a majour defensive upgrade + a classic Euro PAO of old perforamnce that we havent seen this season, we simply won't make it. Who cares though, I'd rather focus on getting the double.

NikosVazelas
Toni got injured... and will be out for a month missing both games vs Pao. Now all we need is the same thing to happen to Totti, Vucinic. and maybe we'll be ok :)

pao123
honestly, i think we will be alright...if the team plays with the fire that we have been recently then we'll do just fine..that doesnt mean we will progress, but we can make it a battle to the finish...if we go in scared though. we will get crushed. i saw nioplias' mini interview at the end of the aris game and he looks like he really believes we have a great team with great players, if the players believe the same thing i think we will be in for an enjoyable two games vs roma...
