Akritis_1944
According to contra.gr, Kapetanos was released by AEK and will sign a 3-year deal with Steaoua Bucharest. They are in the CL but how much playing time will he get? He showed a lot of promise at Iraklis and started well at AEK, but got lost amongst all the transfers at Nea Philadelphia.Going abroad is the best move and Steaua Bucharest is playing CL. If he can break into the squad he can really develop his game. He is now 25. No longer a kid. He should be playing regularly. kali epitichia re Panteli. Kapetanos' goal and action before it starts at around 1:35. :) Nice goal too! The penalty he wins comes right after that ...

Euro2004
Kapentanos scored a header last week to put Steaua 2-1 up with a few mins to go, unfortunately for him the opposition equalised a minute later and the game finished 2-2.

Euro2004
http://www.sportdog.gr/v3/article.aspx?id=116008 Kapetanos is the top scorer in the Romanian league. 9 goals in 16 games. Impressive.
Euro2004
Kapetanos scored a vital last-gasp equaliser in the crunch clash between Unirea-Steaua. The game finished 2-2 and it was Kapetanos' 11th goal in 21 leagues games this season in the Romanian league. It's not that impressive a tally but he is top scorer. The league is also pretty intense over there with Cluj ahead of Steaua on goal difference (39 points) and Unirea 3 points behind them with a game in hand
js1000
kapetanos has featured in only 2 of steaua's opening 6 games, and was taken off on both occasions, but has been called up by santos for our upcoming euro 2012 qualifyers. i think the retirement of amanatidis is a bigger loss than first feared especialy when you consider the inclusion of haristeas also
Euro2004
That's unusual. He was easily Steaua's best forward last year. I saw many of their games at work and without him they were completely toothless in the final third. He certainly isn't good enough for the national team but good enough for Steaua

Irlandos
Kapetanos scored a goal in Steaua's Europa League match v. Napoli but then shared his team's bad "luck" as he was expelled in the 30' for an alleged elbowing incident. Btw, Steaua's 3-0 lead vanished after that point as Napoli scored three. The last goal was scored in the 98'. The 4th official had indicated only 4 minutes of extra time...

Yes and both the Steaua chairman and manager labelled him as an idiot and implied that they'd have won had he not been sent off :(
