georgelaz
skibbe also hasn't started holebas. starts clubless tziolis and maniatis. doesn't include ninis and fetfa in the squad. decisions that a lot of us wouldn't have made either. as long as he gets us results he can do whatever he wants but i think these decisions will catch up to us when we're playing more formidable foes.
J1078
^Absloloutley agree with you Amorgos.. It's great to be positive and enthusiastic about the team start but people here are going to start calling us negative when we speak the truth. The truth is the team had looked like s%$#! to start the qualifier, when you give a team like Gibraltor prime scoring chances and allow them to score a goal and essential finish even wi them I. The second half then you've played like s%$#!, when you get out played by Estonia for almost 90minutes then you've played like s%$#!. Bosnia has dominated Cypres and Estonia and smashed Estonia 5-0. In my mind Bosnia will beat us if we continue playing like this. Now back to Katelis should only play CF as he is s%$#! as a winger.. I don't mind him and Mitroglou as CF. Skibbe has completely utilized the players the wrong way.
PAOKSYD
If karelis keeps scoring a big money move is coming, kid can become one of greece highest paid footballers. ade keep tucking them in karelis!!!
Dutch Eagle
Karelis scored the only goal tonight in the EL-game against Rapid Vienna, earning Genk progress to the second round (of 32).
Nikitas
won 1-3 against charleroi yesterday and karelis scored all goals. ninis still injured. genk is now in the semi final.
Nikod
This guy is crap on the wing. Clearly needs to play in the middle for Greece, either with Mitroglou or as a super sub.
maggica
Unless mitroglou is on fire, I'd rather start karelis instead of him. Mitroglou has been poor for the NT since 2014! I'll concede that mitroglou is of a higher quality than karelis, but he doesn't fit with the system, selections, and tactics of the team. He's also inconsistent for club and country. Also, karelis scores CLUTCH goals for genk...mitroglou is nowhere to be found in the important games. Against Belgium, I'd rather play karelis as striker, he could be lethal on the counter. Argy
Ideally, I want to see Mitroglou as Greece's striker. He is more high profile and I believe his ceiling is higher, but I tend to agree with you, maggica. Edited December 16, 2016 by Argy
pash
I think they've looked all right playing together...to me, Karelis seems to play better deep. Why not have both?
maggica
^pash, thing is, we play a formation with only 1 striker. ^argy, mitroglou is better...thats why he plays for benfica, and karelis plays for genk. But, once again, mitro doesnt fit in with the NT. Also, I would argue that karelis has a higher ceiling, since he is younger and seems hungrier. In that sense, maybe, but what i was trying to say is that Mitroglou's best is better than Karelis'.

Nikitas
a chinese club wants to give karelis a big contract. karelis is open for that. https://translate.google.com/translate?sl=nl&tl=en&js=y&prev=_t&hl=nl&ie=UTF-8&u=http%3A%2F%2Fvoetbalbelgie.be%2Fnl%2Farticle.php%3Fid%3D117005&edit-text=&act=url Edited December 23, 2016 by Nikitas

Akritis_1944
He hasn't signed and given that the only players going to China are South American (mainly Brazilians) and Africans I doubt he will pursue this option. Then again if they throw wads of cash at him I can't blame him not one bit. Seriously doubt we'll see him in Kina any time soon.
Dutch Eagle
Karelis scored from the spot today (2-0) in minute 26' against Gent. He was subbed in 51'. His team Genk leads Gent with 2-0 with 15 minutes to go.

Argy
At this point, we need to improve the potency of our midfield, no matter who plays as a forward. Speaking strictly as pecking order, Vellios has the elements.
