Tsoglani
Olympiakos has appealed the decision of the Eforeftiki Epitropi tis Superleague. This first means now that the case goes definitely to EPO courts. I believe Kalamaria will appeal aswell. I wonder how EPO will react. This cause if they give right to Olympiakos then they confess having done mistake by giving the blue card to Kalamaria for the player. Theyll probably try to move the weight of decision to FIFa itself. Sorry Tsoglani but can you give me any link for that?(Oly new appeal on the decision).I have checked 4-5 websites and all they are saying is that both teams are expecting the full report first, explaining the reasons that lead to this decision before they take any furher action.PS.Cyberfish,no problem man, dont sweat it.No biggie deal. GreenTitus
I must admit that I didn't see this one coming... They get a second chance to win the game and still they try to get the three points without even playing football! This a serious moral issue indeed... And they don't even bother to pretend that they are interested in maintaining some integrity....

And they don't even bother to pretend that they are interested in maintaining some integrity....I think it's a case where Olympiakos is trying to be aggressive and control the agenda. I am sure their attorneys are pretty good and they know how to play the system. They already know Kalamaria is going to appeal.Olympiakos will probably try to make the appeals court focus only on the resolution, hoping that the "eligibility" issue won't even be looked at. From Kalamaria's point of view, they should appeal the verdict on the eligibility, and should try to get the appeals committee reject the case all together. As for integrity, they already dropped their pants, so no reason to pretend they care any more. Besides, attorneys don't bother themselves with such cloudy temrs like "integrity". xiotis
the overall integrity and equality of the league is being challenged right now, and i can't wait to see their ruling..i felt they already screwed kalamaria by appointing a rematch, and now oly are going for the 3 pts straight up..i dno man..i would not wanna be an oly fan right now and if PAO ever did that..i would be embarassed.. u would think someone from oly would step up and say..no this isnt right they beat us fair and square..but again some ppl don't care if they win deservedly and fairly as long as they win

Kolokotronis
This is pathetic. The case should have been stopped immediately, but this is one of the major flaws of the Greek justice system, sports and criminal justice that is. The first court is always quick to make a decision knowing full well that really the only opinion that matters is the one of the appeals court. No matter what they decide one of the parties will appeal and so they just glance over the cases and push them upwards. It's pathetic, but this is how it works. Besides article 37 of KAP that exonerates Wallner and Kalamaria, I suspect the judges in their written explanation today will claim there is not precedent and that's why the invented the "repeat the game" decision. But if you look no further than article 38 you will see that it says: "μη νόμιμη η ένσταση αν η καταγγελόμενη παράβαση και η ποιν

cyberfish
 I really didn't mean it in a bad way. I meant to say that such concepts are nice an fuzzy, but attorneys are mostly concerned with the law and its practical applications (probably I am wrong on this one, but that's why we get together, to correct each other). Anyway, I am glad we have attorneys (or ex-attorneys) in our midst. As for me, I am not one. I am probably the opposite of an attorney. :)

Anyway, no offense taken, I don't consider myself an attorney and not merely because I don't practice law anymore! So, please feel free to rubbish lawyers as much as you like - I was only jocking! Or we could get Bush as a transfer to Kalamaria? He has played in several leagues so he could be another reason for an SL team to appeal.   George W Bush Position center forward. Goals achieved 3 (1 USA vs Afghanistan, 2 USA vs Irak, 3 USA vs USA) His team won all games. Favourite foot (does it matter as long as he can kick some asses?) Hobbie : Wargames (could it actually be that bush was the kid in the samenamed film that plays against the computer war?)
