its not you....ANT1 sound settings are even worse than their picture quality. On top of that , this morning Odyssey here in Canada did not pick up ANT!'s feed of the match until about the 10th minute (missing the 1st goal)

We played a very good game today. Our best so far this year. Hope we can keep the rythem that we got. I f we play like this against Oly we could get a good result.

Fine showing and result by our lads but let's discuss the other side: Does anyone think Apollon K. have a chance of survival this year?

Good win. Now the real test next Sunday. A tie against OLY would be an excellent result. Let's hope the players really gun for it because if they sit back and play for the 0-0, tha ta fame ta golakia.

Blanco lifted his shirt to show his t-shirt he had on with a message to his dad in Spanish "Fuerte papa te amo" ... Which means either "I love you strongly dad" or "Strong dad I love you" but I think it's the first one rather than the second :).

He got yellow for that, ... I can see it for the mask, but not for this ...

Genome, I see your point, but Fifa's laws of the game specifically indicate that the way Blanco lifted his shirt is a punishable offense.

Laws of the game: http://www.fifa.com/mm/document/affederati...708%5f10565.pdf (take a look, there are specific photographs for these rules)

Page 67 and page 117 couldn't be more specific.

While it is permissible for a player to demonstrate his joy when a goal

has been scored, the celebration must not be excessive.

Reasonable celebrations are allowed, but the practice of choreographed

celebrations is not to be encouraged when it results in excessive

time-wasting and referees are instructed to intervene in such

cases.

A player must be cautioned if:

• in the opinion of the referee, he makes gestures which are provocative,

derisory or infl ammatory

• he climbs on to a perimeter fence to celebrate a goal being

scored

• he removes his shirt or covers his head with his shirt.

• he covers his head or face with a mask or other similar item

Leaving the fi eld of play to celebrate a goal is not a cautionable offence

in itself but it is essential that players return to the fi eld of play as soon

as possible.

Referees are expected to act in a preventative manner and to exercise

common sense in dealing with the celebration of a goal.

• he covers his head or face with a mask or other similar item

also, on page 22 the guidance regarding slogans of undershirts

Players must not reveal undershirts that contain slogans or advertising.

The basic compulsory equipment must not contain any

political, religious or personal statements.

• A player removing his jersey to reveal slogans or advertising will

be sanctioned by the competition organiser. The team of a player

whose basic compulsory equipment contains political, religious or

personal slogans or statements will be sanctioned by the competition

organiser or by FIFA.

• Jerseys must have sleeves

Maybe Blanko (and the reporters) should be more aware of the rules of the game, before they complain about the referees for doing the right thing.

Now let's see if the "competition organizer" can sanction the offender before the derby with Olympiakos

Besides the rules, I feel for the guy who has a sick father half the way around the world. I hope everything works out well for him. Sometimes we tend to forget that these players go through the same human situations we all go through...

i think this rule is a piece of crap...football is all about passion and there is nothing that evokes more passion then scoring a goal..if a player wants to celebrate with the fans by jumping on the fence or at the fans or take his shirt off, let him...pack the extra minutes on the stoppage time, thats what its for isnt it?

i wont forget the first goal tevez scored for west ham..he was so overjoyed that he jumped into the stands and celebrated with the fans..that shows drive and passion and thats what football is all about.
