UEFA.com described it as an impressive display, while Ouzounidis said this is APOEL's best ever squad. AND... Emerson (from AEK) and Ze Carlos (from Braga) were unavailable, so on paper this team will get even stronger! Cypriot teams have come VERY close to qualification for the CL group stages before, namely APOEL and Anorthosi who have failed to make it in the past because of conceding in the last 10 mins... They (northern Europeans) are more fit, having in most instances played during the summer. UEFA need to take action.
