  1. Rumors of interest from Atletico and Porto, Porto supposedly has an undisclosed buy back clause, and Sa has a reported buy out on his contract for 13 million. Τον παίρνει όποτε θέλει! Ρήτρα-ΣΟΚ για Σα - Τι υπέγραψε ο Ολυμπιακός - Θα πάθει "χουνέρι";
  2. He states in no uncertain terms his reasons for leaving right here: «Ήθελα να κρατήσω έστω έναν εκ των Κάνιας και Σάκχοφ. Όταν μου είπαν ότι δεν θα μείνει ούτε ο Σάκχοφ, ούτε ο Κάνιας, τότε ήταν η στιγμή που αποφάσισα πως δεν μπορώ να μείνω στο ΠΑΟΚ." link The team had some big matches coming up that summer, and he wanted the team to keep at least one of those mids for the reason that according to him the team would lose the good chemistry it had that season and that there would be a huge loss of link up play between the back line and the forwards. It is a shame really, that he would not stay and continue to build on such an unprecedentedly successful season that we have not seen in the super league at least in my lifetime. The board IMO should have given in to any demand it could to keep him, wth were they thinking I dont know. According to the interview his request was not so outlandish, he simply wanted to keep his midfield intact. Blackhawk if the board would not allow him to keep the very same squad that achieved all this success, then for sure he left because he could not accomplish the same results working with a lesser squad and adding the responsibilities of summer qualification to the task. I think that is what he is saying also if you read again.
  3. Leonardo DiCaprio Helps Launch America's Food Fund to Benefit Those Affected by COVID-19 "Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, more than 37 million people struggled to know where their next meal might come from on a daily basis, a number that we are seeing rise at an exponential rate."
  4. /\/\/\ Huffington Post maybe? CNBC (need to pause your ad blocker)
  5. He is definitely not the type of leader that would make me feel the most safe in trusting that he will consider all the info and act based on the best advice of health care professionals and experts. God help us, it is up to the people to take the appropriate steps to keep one another safe, this guy is dangerous. If you have symptoms self isolate, if you have no real urge to be out and about, enjoy the time to stay in and work on that thing you been putting off, read a book, get your rest and use this time for anything that can make you better/happier/not putting yourself or others at risk. Use facetime if you need to see our pals, skype, wtv... The scary part is for me, that we are just at the start of this problem, if this drags on for more than a month or two things will get very ugly very fast I fear...be safe, be nice to each other and pray (coming from an agnostic).
  6. Interesting little interview of 2018-2019 Greek Invincibles and League Champions, former PAOK coach and current Asian Champions League Winner, about living in Saudi Arabia compared to Greece, he also mentions the reason he decided to leave Thessaloniki (some people not going to like that part I think).
  7. Lastly one of the most stunning goals for me personally is from Zlatan, I heard he is leaving Milan this summer, would take him in a heartbeat he has not aged at all IMO, and would score as many goals as he wanted here.
  8. Feel free to post your fave Olympiakos goal or video. Giovanni's lobs were unreal, nobody could do it like the Magician.
  9. Stay safe everyone, ride this thing out and check in on your loved ones. Our grandma has issues with asma and she is taking the whole thing way too lightly going out several times a day. We're trying to tell her that we will run her errands (she has 6 grandkids here with cars and ready to help). Hope the crazy old bat gets the message, but she is showing signs of having not a single f**k to spare. Hopefully the internet doesn't crash, if it does it is zombie apocalypse time.
  10. Gotta say this is an excellent start to our transfers, I always thought this guy was a beast of a mid. Κλείδωσε: Αυτός γυρίζει το καλοκαίρι στον Ολυμπιακό
  11. If it's good enough for my yiayia, who am I to argue?
  12. Playoffs were always a silly idea to me for football, play offs should only be used as tie breakers for promotion reasons the same way they have traditionally been used in the past.
  13. Here where I am they are doing 2 weeks only...what did South Korea do? I heard they have been among the best countries in dealing with this.
  14. In times like these, when I am trying to make sense of it all, I turn to the wisdom and guidance of entertainers. Don't worry folks see below: Waka Flocka Flame says coronavirus is “fake” and “minorities can’t catch it” What a relief.... BTW where are all my tin foil hat posters? Have they all moved on to more paranoid pastures?
  15. What they ever do to you? Incumbent Presidents almost never lose, it is very rare.
  16. That would suck for Panionios (Greece's oldest team).
  17. Who are you talking about here specifically?
  18. Bummer, the team was having good mojo up to know, if that red didn't change our plans early on I think we coulda ran all over Wolves. Let's see what will happen next now. It was a bit harsh considering some of the other tackles that were much worse, but since he was the last man back I guess the ref felt he needed to toss Semedo...still the team played well. Wolves were a bit lucky to get the goal and leave with a tie. If the match delay is not exceedingly long, I think we have a reasonable shot at getting through in the end.
  19. Giannis donated 100k to stadium staff to help with the loss of income due to the virus shut down. It's not a lot compared to his salary, but still a very nice gesture and that kinda money probably goes far in Milwaukee I would bet.
  20. A real keyboard tough guy, running your mouth with that talk behind a screen. I never said I wouldn't pay you, you'll get your 100$. Also, I pray that you will see that there is a place for you here, I don't think the boards would ever be the same without you.
  21. Seems like our President has contracted the virus during his time in London (he stayed back after the Arsenal game until just recently). Perastika Proedre! Get well soon... Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis has coronavirus Marinakis had earlier revealed he had been diagnosed with coronavirus on social media platform Instagram. "The recent virus has 'visited' me and I felt obliged to let the public know," he said. "I feel good as I take all the necessary measures and I discipline to the doctor's instructions."
