We'll have some additional absences - Mistakidis' injury might be worse than feared, he's getting an MRI today (knee). Hopefully it isn't serious. Klaus needed stitches, but that seems to be the extent to his damage.

WELL THANKS FOR RUINING THE SURPRISE!
-
Panionios have capitalized on their chances and while they do deserve to make the playoffs, I agree that they'll drop to fourth or fifth in the last few match days. They've got a tricky set of matches left. Why are you playing on Thursday? Is this a makeup game?
-
Highlights:
-
Fancy footwork by Varela there, too bad Koulouris couldn't do anything with that chance
-
Goal Kitsiou! Makes up for his ridiculously bad shot a few minutes earlier 2-0
-
Last sub, Kace for Mistakidis. I'm guessing that means Biseswar will move left and Shakhov up a little. Mistakidis is being carted off, which is a bad sign
-
Agreed. They're definitely not taking Larissa seriously; probably just want to waste time and keep their thoughts on PAO. Which is a great mentality if you want to lose an easy match at the last second.
-
Charisis, Poungouras, and Kace warming up Kitsiou seems to be playing ahead of Matos
-
Kitsiou coming on for Henrique, Matos will be used as a winger -edit- and Koulouris came in for Klaus a few minutes ago
-
Link came back in 56th minute
-
Same here. It looks like we were about three minutes behind, so it's possible that the source cut out at half and will come back for the second
-
He must have been emotionally shattered after Canas' excellent celebration dance
-
Iraklis currently up 0-2 vs Kerkyra (just about half time). Would be a big win for them, they'd be one game out of safety at that point.
-
CANAS YES! 1-0
-
Looks good, thank you!

Still searching, myself

Here's the lineup Brkic Matos Varela Malezas Leovac Canas Shakhov Mistakidis Biseswar Henrique Klaus

Here're the 18: Γλύκος, Μπρκιτς, Λέοβατς, Δεληγιαννίδης, Μάτος, Κίτσιου, Μαλεζάς, Βαρέλα, Πούγγουρας, Κάνιας, Κάτσε, Σάκχοφ, Χαρίσης, Μπίσεσβαρ, Μυστακίδης, Ενρίκε, Αθανασιάδης, Κουλούρης I'd choose this as my 11, and if we go up a few goals early enough, it would be a good chance for one of the fringe or younger players to get time...Kace, Poungouras, Deligiannidis, Charisis... --Glykos-- --Matos--Varela--Malezas--Leovac-- --Canas--Biseswar--Shakhov-- --Mistakidis--Klaus--Henrique

Giannina vs Xanthi ended 1-1. Jairo scored the tying goal in the 90th

D'oh!!!
-
Well that's depressing...hopefully there is at least enough lead time to get a real (not temporary) coach in line. I look forward to the circus of cutting and replacing 15 players every summer to continue once again.
-
Pelkas fined 10k for giving himself a medical exam... Warda likely will be fined for missing a flight/not attending training... Multiple other fines likely for players' use of social media...
-
Salpingidis going for his coaching license Donis missing? Did...Donis steal Salpingidis' identity??
-
So in other words - either Olympiakos will end the regular season with a 15 or 20 point lead (which gives them an almost insurmountable advantage going into a playoff), or they don't and have another chance to make it up during the playoffs? I don't think this system will last too long. Fortunately (for once), soccer in Greece changes pretty quickly.
