  1. Rafaela Spanoudaki ran a personal best of 23.15, finishing 3rd. It's not enough to put her in Doha, but it is possible she may get in as a wild card
  2. Turkey nearly pulled off the upset, losing 93-92 in OT to the United States.
  3. Greece fell short on a comeback 79-78 defeat to Brazil.
  4. Greece lead as much as 15 points, lead at the half 40-30, now down by 3 after 3 quarters. A poor third quarter by Greece, limited to just 13 points. 56-53 Brazil lead.

  11. Have you guys heard that Australia beat USA 98-94 like a week ago? That snapped USA's 78-game winning streak since the famous Greece victory in World Championship 2006 in the semifinals. I looked at the USA team and they are definitely not gold medal material.
