  1. At this stage I don't want us to win F*** doubles and Greek SHI** Cups just do well outside of Greece (YIFTO LEMONI - SCUMBAG)
  2. Lets be totaly honest here... Who looks at these rankings and why do they matter. We all know that our team DOES NOT belong that high up on that list considering our recent results. And it's not just our team, there are so many on this list here that we can pick on and adjust accordingly.. Don't even give this list a second though, but to answer your question YES! I do think that FIFA has lost her head... ;)
  3. We do have a chance vs. the Americans.. Recently they've been looking a bit slump and they haven't scored like they were scoring in the begining of the tournament... I think that the way to beat this team is by slowing the game and let them shoot the outside jump-shot. They are not an outside shooting team and we have to let them die-by-it. As far as an inside game when they go for an inside drive or lay-up I think that our men need to toughen-up and get the offensive foul from these guys. I believe that if this happens we have a great chance of beating them.. :gr: :gr: :gr: :gr: :gr: :gr: :gr: :gr: :gr:
  4. AWESOME MOVE! This is going to make him better. I love the idea and a great upper management idea by PAO. He's the type of player that can make this club some $$$ I LIKE IT!
  5. Where did you find it dude??? Is it online somwhere??
  6. Olympiacos Egaleo 1-0 @ the 2nd minute by hand ball and penalty that was taken by Castillo If I'm not mistaken this puts Castillo in 1st place as leading scorer during the friendlies
  7. Rivaldos free kick was a class act player goalWhen you have the fans in Karaiskai doing the "bow" you know it's awesome goal... Absolutely mazing - I was watching the match w/ my 9 yr old yavraki son and we thought it was one of his best goals at the Limani
  8. Once again really good scoresheet by our club. I LOVE THE FACT THAT WE'RE SCORING This is what we need to look at and trully say that we're definitely better than last year. I liked how Okkas was on the right side and loved how Doumi played in the left back. Bulut is definitely out and the Frenchman is in.. Fianlly Oauddu is the SHIZNIT. He's got height and he's smart on the ball and it's going to help us in Europe. Our team looks look BRAVO SOLLIED
  9. Not a bad result vs the German side (Stuttgart - Olympiacos 1-0) It's good to see Cesar playing now... Only time will tell.... The main thing here is that we're injury free... Lets keep our fingers crossed.
  10. Blackburn is definitely a good side as they've been in the Priemership for a bit now. 1 thing is for sure and that is that Blackburn is better than the Southampton team that PAO faced today. Overall we're doing just fine I believe because if we we're winning these friendlies 1-0 or 2-0 everyone would be saying that we're just fine and friendlies don't matter. But the fact that we're actually scoring 3 or 4 goals that's something good to talk about. Finally we're watching our team evolve to an attacking team instead of playing for the "draw" Great Job Sollied
  11. Good for him.... It's always great to see our home-grown talent playing on leagues outside of Greece.. Good Luck
  12. We all know what Giovanni can do and I think that alot of you are forgetting on how he played his last 2 years for us (LIKE CRAP) He really didn't do anything. I saw some matches when he played back inb Brazil but he was the same player... (Lazy at the bal at times) I don't want that Giovanni on the team, I want the Giovanni that's going to give his all for the club no matter how long he plays. It's a decision that's tough because Sollied has to make sure that he disciplins him in the right matter form the start. This is a tough one..
  13. 3/20/06 Just read this from EPO's website *******************************************************************
  14. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! BRAVO DIKEMOU GO ALL TE WAY Here's the article from Contra.gr ****************************************************************
  15. He is but I haven't heard anything too much about him..As long as the team is doing well his name will become and more popular. As far as predicting and so on I have to go w/ an ACC team to win it all...
  16. Kazakhstan 1 - 2 Greece Greece kept alive their hopes of reaching the UEFA European Under-21 Championship play-offs with victory against a committed Kazakhstan. Pressure on Alexandros Tziolis and Charilaos Pappas scored in each half to move the Greeks to 17 points from ten games in Group 2. The win keeps the pressure on Turkey and Ukraine who occupy the two positions above them and behind leaders Denmark. The top two will reach November's play-offs. Andriolas inspired Kazakhstan showed no fear in the early stages and were quicker to find their feet. Only the safe hands of visiting goalkeeper Konstantinos Andriolas denied the hosts following early efforts from Aidar Argimbayev and Vadim Borovskiy. Aliyev chip Nonetheless, Greece scored first in the eighth minute. A swift counterattack resulted in a corner which Tziolis headed in. The Kazakhs refused to buckle though and reclaimed the initiative. They had to wait for the equaliser but it was worth it, Piraly Aliyev chipping a stranded Andriolas from 30 metres on 54 minutes. Neat move Greece were back in front within three minutes, however. Following a neat passing move, Pappas rounded two defenders before slotting the ball into the corner. The hosts pushed for a second equaliser, notably when Borovskiy went close with an 18-metre free-kick, but the visitors were not to be denied. :gr: :gr: :gr: :gr: :gr: :gr: :gr:
  17. It's a damn shame.... I SOOOOOO wish that these kids a better job than that.... It just shows you that we need to push more youth in all levels in order to accel in this sport... :gr:
  18. Our U-19 Team just played their 2nd match for the Under 19 Championchips. The report is below: ************************************************************** Germany bounced back from their opening UEFA European Under-19 Championship Group A defeat to cruise past Greece in Lurgan. Müller opener Two days ago Germany saw a 2-0 lead against Serbia and Montenegro turn into a 4-2 loss. But against a side that edged past hosts Northern Ireland 1-0, Germany dominated and led 16 minutes in when Stephan Schröck's curling cross was converted at the far post by Florian Müller. Boateng style Just before the break, the advantage doubled when Ashkan Dejagah's free-kick from the left was knocked in by Eugen Polanski, and within 60 seconds of the interval it was three in spectacular style as Kevin-Prince Boateng let fly from inside the centre circle and the ball dipped under the crossbar. Schröck departs However, in the build-up to the goal Schröck was injured and departed on a stretcher, but Germany comfortably saw the game out. They are now second on head-to-head record as Serbia and Montenegro derfeated hosts Northern Ireland 1-0 in Newry. The group concludes on Saturday when the hosts face Germany and Greece take on the Serbo-Montenegrins. Germany know a win will take them through while Greece cannot afford to lose. DAMN! :gr:

The only goal in the Group A match came 16 minutes in. Lazaros Christodopoulos's shot was parried by Northern Ireland goalkeeper Paul Willis, and Antonis Petropoulos reacted quickest to score. In the other fixture in the pool today, Serbia and Montenegro came back from two down to beat Germany 4-2. The Serbo-Montenegrins are the hosts' next opponents on Wednesday in Newry, while Greece take on Germany in Lurgan. http://www.uefa.com/Competitions/under19/index.html :gr: :gr: :gr: :gr: :gr: :gr: :gr: :gr: :gr: :gr:
  20. CH Thrylos ------ This is exactly what Olympiacos and the other clubs in Greece need. The top clubs in the world emphasize in their youth and their youth programs. Right now there's the Youth World Championships that are taking place in Holland and really out of all the participants that are in this tournament, it's those that Greece has to follow in order to have our teams participate at this level. This of-course is something that can't be done overnight but it has to start quickly and it has to be done correctly by EPO and Greece!!  GREAT NEWS!
  21. This is a great post..... Love the PICS and hopefully we can see more from some other clubs also...
