Dimitris Diamantakos scored the 2-2 for St. Pauli against Lübeck in the first round of the DFB-Pokal (German cup) to earn them extra time. In the last minute of the extra time (and a 3-3 score) he was sent of with a red card. St. Pauli reached the next phase after winning the penalty shootout.
Thanks for the updates. Diamantakos actually has his own thread.

Vitesse finished 5th in the Eredivisie last season. Good move for him, assuming he sees more playing time.

Good move for him.

Was the only regular NT player without his own thread on this forum.

Seems like this Turkish club is becoming somewhat of a destination for Greek internationals. Manolis will join Tzavellas and Bakasetas at the club, as Giannis Maniatis recently made a move back to Greece for Panionios.
Siopis penned a three-year deal with Alanyaspor for a fee of 2.1m Euros.

Napoli is great, ambitious club. Aiming to dethrone Juventus and make a CL run. Complement to Manolas joining this side.

Practically confirmed Manolas heading to Napoli for €16m and Diawara. He will play alongside highly respected CB Koulibaly. Found an article quoting canavaro praising the two:
he seems very confident that with manolas the team can take the champions league trophy. Napoli have also recently acquired James Rodriguez (Colombia). And Karnezis is another player in Napoli although I’m pretty sure he is their third string keeper
Pretty much a done deal. 34m transfer fee.

On 14 June 2019, the AEK reached an agreement with Alanyaspor for the transfer of Bakasetas for an estimated transfer sum of €1,000,000.

On June 23, 2019, Vellios returned to Greece, signing a multi-year deal with Atromitos.

Ligue 1 side Toulouse have agreed a deal with PAOK over the purchase of 23-year-old forward Efthymios Koulouris.
After having an initial bid rejected, a second proposal worth €3.5m plus bonuses was accepted.

Toulouse agree deal with PAOK for Efthymios Koulouris! Maybe he should get his own topic?

There need to be some firings/resignations after that debacle.
The sad part is that we are beyond saving. No firing/resignations will help this team. The Greek NT as we know it is dead. We are back to the dark ages and this will take years to bounce back from, if ever.

But how often can one team start slow and frail. It's all we do.

truly a nightmare. I don't know where to start.
Firing Anastasiadi doesn't solve a thing, but fire the old F***er anyway for good measure. Blow up this team.

The back pass specialists Greece. Back passes and long balls. The signature of an impotent team.

This campaign is 100% done. No chance of making any challenge for 2nd after this. The football world is laughing at us.

Zeca and Samaris are crap. Seriously. Siopis should have started at least. Bouchalakis and Kourbelis would have been better. Masouras is working his ass off. Imagine if he had quality players around him. He would look way better.
The answer isn't defensive midfielders.

A bunch of bubbling idiots. We can barely move the ball forward. no one is in sync. All kidding aside, in their current form, they are easily one of the worst teams in Europe. Not only by results, but by the way they play. I want to poor vinegar into my eyes.

Anastasiadi is getting Siopi ready watch out Armenia.

Losing to Finland, Estonia and Faroe No excuse. Losing to Italy had a simple explanation. They’re better. Plain and simple.
We looked really bad though. A lot worse than minnows would look against them.
