Sad. Still at a prime age and has to try out for a low tier Israeli club.

Ospina played in yesterday's CL game. Hopefully Oresti is back for their league match this weekend.

Sokratis had an astounding match on Saturday in Arsenal's 2-1 win vs Newcastle; His best yet. He is winning over his naysayers that did not believe he would be an impact signing. Sentiment on Twitter, for example, that was unjustly overly negative amongst Arsenal supporters at the beginning of the season, has almost completely shifted.

Clean sheet vs Fiorentina on Saturday helping Napoli win 1-0. Important result. Should earn him some more starts in the coming weeks.

Yea Fortounis was ok. Still no one has the spine to go at defenders and keep them on their toes. Our players just feed the ball to the wings and hope for a great cross in. All that does and solidifies the opponents pressure tactics. They are never afraid of being taken on. That, out of all problems, is the most frustrating.

How many years do we watch this with a back-pass first mentality and a team that overexploits the wings and hopes for a perfect cross in. This is lazy, impotent football and it has to go before we can make any sort of progress. This team has been stagnant for years and a loss in an empty stadium in Hungary is a complete travesty.

I complete embarassment to lose to this Hungarian team with players from second divisions around Europe. this is really a shame a dark day for Greek soccer. It's a step back. We did not lose a meaningful game in the WC wualifying other than a good match vs Belgium. Skibbe has to go and so does the pass back as a first option mentality. Sad times for the Greek NT.

I hope you are right and that is the case. I hate seeing wasted talent on a team where it is already scarce. -

Donis must be integrated into the starting XI. Form goes a long way and is integral, but so does skill and talent, and I believe Donis has more of that than Pelkas and will catch up to Lazaros and Fortounis soon enough. I also think he has more game breaking ability than the above 3. He is playing in a much more competitive league versus and alongside better players and that goes a long way. The tactics, club culture, training facilities, staff, professionalism, game pace of the Bundesliga are not found in Greece. For me, as long as Donis is getting minutes at Stuttgart, he should be one of the first names on the game sheet for Greece, and not wasted on the bench like he was yesterday. Let us see what happens vs Hungary. -

I'll take another year, I just don't want to see this drag like it did with Katsouranis. It's time for fresh legs in the RB position and I think the team will benefit if Sokratis wears the armband for a couple of years. -

I really don't like what he brings to the table anymore. I am tired of seeing his hopeless longballs. I think he leaves a lot to be desired as a leader and captain (Sokratis is much better and is being wasted). I am looking at this as a whole and I fear that he will be an anchor for this team in the coming campaigns. -

Today was an opportunity stamp our authority and send a message to the rest of the group. The only message we sent is that we are fragile and very beatable. -

Torosidis needs to retire. He plays lacklustre and his hopeless long balls are remnants of the old guard. The sad part is that Toro has been one of the best players of this last generation, and a solid captain. It will be a shame to see him go the way of Gekas and Katsouranis, being scolded by fans and have facebook groups created calling for his retirement. He has 97 caps now. Become a centurian and walk away with your head held high. Torosidis should not be a member of the NT for the beginning of Euro2020 qualifying in 2019.
