  1. Παίξτε μπάλα ρε κοπρόσκυλα! Πάρτε την πρόκριση για να μη σας πάρει ο διάβολος!!!
  2. Guys, while he has indeed taken PAOK to another level, I personally think it is clear that there is no longer any motivation to transform the team into a powerhouse. He is using Russian tactics in a Greek game. He is either at his ranch in Rostov or at his resort in Halkidiki. For me, the plan was to use him to gain Russian access to the port. That has now been accomplished. Sure, he spent a lot of money to take the team out of debt and build it up but the money he has made from owning PAOK and investing in Greece is a tremendous amount. I don't usually agree with PAOKSYD but I think he is on the right track about Savvidis.
  3. Neither of them ever got chances to prove themselves.
  4. He isn't playing the first game against Hajduk so I expect him to be sold.
  5. My eyesight isn't great but I didn't see Augusto in the latest training video.
  6. Just noticed that Odjija-Ofoe plays for them. He can't seem to get far enough from us. First he played against us for OSFP, then he left and he played against us for Gent. Now this. I hope we keep to traditions and win.
  7. Lucas Taylor coming out today saying that Shakhtar bought him. Just checked Transfermarkt and they confirm. When did that happen?
  8. This was a classic PAOK away performance. Start off average, step it up a bit then just as things are looking good we go and make a tragic error which puts all of us fans on the verge of a heart attack for 60 minutes. Then out of nowhere comes a bit of magic and we are home and dry. Our defence is shocking (except for Baba). I have no idea how Kedziora is a national team player. One foul throw is bad enough, two in a row is just embarrassing. Ekong is slower than a sloth in treacle. Michailidis cannot mark to save his life. Unfortunately I think that injury may have ruined him (I hope I am wrong). Against a proper team, we would have been slaughtered today. Where do I start with the midfield? Schwab will unfortunately be the new Biseswar this season. He is a huge liability out there and I have no idea what he was thinking with the pass backward. I sincerely hope that was Augusto's last game in a PAOK jersey. I am so bored of watching him commit unnecessary fouls and picking up cards all the time. Hopefully the French are still interested in picking him up. Tsingaras was average (by all means better than Schwab and Augusto) and should have scored that chance. I would say our wingers are the only saving grace. Zivkovic was decent and Narey was alright. Konstantelias is like an oasis in the desert. Up top, although Brandon scored, we need to be honest with ourselves - he isn't good enough. Apart from the goal he did nothing. Samatta looks sharp but we still don't really have a clear picture of him. It will be a crime if Tzimas gets no playing time because of these two though. Beitar reminded me of the old PAOK. A stupid own goal. Throwing things at the opposition players. Missing a penalty. The sprinklers coming on during the game. Missed chances. Another own goal. For some reason when the camera showed the owners face at the end, I knew exactly how he was feeling.
  9. Unfortunately I may miss this one as I will be in Marseille.
  10. I expect the sale of Augusto to be announced soon. He should never wear a PAOK jersey again.
  12. With Brandon up front, I think it's curtains for us. Not too bothered about Augusto, half-decent player but always saw him more of a liability.
  13. I have come to the conclusion that he is doing it on purpose so that the board will fire him and pay him the €7m. For me there is no other explanation.
  14. I think it is time for Savvidis to come out and speak, especially when we are knocked out of Europe (perhaps next week). It is clear that he has problems: - He cannot bring his money from Russia into Greece, which means we cannot buy players without selling - He is in Rostov and doesn't see what is happening on the ground - He has no idea what is happening in Greek football in general Unfortunately on a political level he is a lost lamb. His life wasn't made at all easy by Marinakis and ND but it is his own fault for not making strong connections elsewhere. Savvidis came to Greece with various objectives in mind. Build his wealth and open a door for Russia. He has achieved both. PAOK has helped him become wealthier. Through this power he bought and sold SEKAP, along with various other ventures (hotels, for example). He owns the port, which in my opinion, was what he was ordered to get by Putin. For a lot of things I truly believe he is using ND and Athens as a smokescreen. Sure, they are making his life difficult but he could easily get sign off for the new stadium. He just needs to turn up with a few people, walk in and get it done (exactly how Melissanidis did). Although his blood may be Greek, his mentality and methods are Russian. That just doesn't work with the gangsters in Greece. I honestly think this season will be worse than the last one. I hope I am wrong but I think Savvidis has done everything he is willing to do with PAOK.
  15. No we won't. Just as Kargas' mistake last year within the first few minutes told us exactly how our season was going to go, also today the missed penalty summed up exactly how this season will turn out.
  16. I wouldn't mind seeing him sold. He is too hot-headed and picks up a lot of yellows.
  17. I can't see us getting into the groups and think it will another 'rebuilding' season.
  18. To be honest, what does it matter if it isn't certain that we will beat Beitar.
  19. I'll be going to the fan club for this one. Around this time last year I remember going there only to see an embarrassing 2-0 loss to the Bulgarians. Βάλτε 2-3 γκολ ρε μ@λ@κες να τελειώνουμε με τους Εβραίους!
