I couldn’t bear to read all these replies. After that equalizer I didn’t wanna ready anything on the forum until now. I’m reading a good amount of stupidity so I’ll just stop reading and say this: if if you follow my posts you’ll know I’m the most optimistic fan and give the team the benefit of the doubt every single game, because the team that I loved somehow managed miracles quite often in the past. todays game was laughable. I was satisfied with the starting lineup. I can not blame the coach that our players couldn’t finish a damn play or make a decent pass in the box. I know we have talent so I’m gonna have to say that this young team just needs time. However this is a game we should have won in our sleep. This is a game that shouldn’t even require a coaches guidance. Obviously we’ve had some bad luck in the loss of Fortounis but we can’t depend on one player for the entire squad. as a natural optimist I will point out some positives that I saw. Sokratis showed some serious heart through his frustration at the end of the game basically doing the midfields job for them. Also we are finally giving young players opportunities to develop and build chemistry with the national team. Also we finally confirmed what all of us seemed to know that fetfa is a valuable asset to this team and I hope he will continue to be called up. Also, I’m glad they put us out of our misery early. At least now we know for sure we’re out of the euro and can focus on using these games to improve the team and prepare for the WC. i have shed tears over past loses for this team, like our loss to Costa Rica in the World Cup. I literally called off work to watch the Finland game. I love this team but what I saw today and these past few games is indeed laughable. It’s not a laugh of joy it’s just a laugh of disbelief. It almost feels like someone is playing a joke on us with these performances. Just because they laugh doesn’t mean they’re not hurting. But we need to remain positive and take action towards things we can control which at this point is our participation in the next WC.

The EPO are to blame for not extending Santos he wanted to stay back then. He speaks the language loves Greece and had a strategy at all levels but no the EPO forced him out and then goes and helps Portugal win there first major tournament Euro 2016. Then the EPO hire the joker Ranieri to replace him and the carousel of coaches that have since followed. Bravo EPO!

Definitely it's harder we play with the real football nations in Europe not like in Cream puff CONCACAF we're there boys and a certain country can't qualify for decades ? and hasn't even reached the hex since 98 again ?

Παιδιά σωστά όλα όσα λέτε... Ο παραγκωνισμός Μενέντεθ (και Βαλεριάνου) ήταν αδιανόητος. Όπως και η προτίμηση σε Κωνσταντινίδη από Τζανακάκη.... Από κει και πέρα δε βλέπω Μενέντεθ να μπαίνει βασικός με το καλημέρα (αν και τον γουστάρω - όπως και τον Κόρχουτ). Ο Κόρχουτ θεωρώ την έχει τη θέση.... ---- Ο πονοκέφαλος είναι μπροστά. Θεωρώ ότι μόνοι σίγουροι είναι Φέτφα και Ιντέγε. Από κει και πέρα, όλες οι υπόλοιπες θέσεις παίζονται. Εχουμε και λέμε.... (με βάση τι βλέπει ο προπονητής, όχι τι βλέπω εγώ, που εγώ θα ξεκινούσα Μαρτίνεζ πχ).... Σίγουρα μέσα - Φέτφα, Ιντέγε Σίγουρα πάγκο - Λάρσον, Τόνσο (αυτός μάλλον πάει βουρ για την κερκίδα - και το Δεκέμβριο bye bye αν δεν αλλάξει κάτι) Ερωτηματικά - Γκάμα, Ντίγκι, Μαρτίνεζ, Μαντσίνι Ασχετο - Είναι τρελλό να βλέπεις αυτό το ρόστερ και να λες "και όμως αυτή η ομάδα μάζεψε μόνο ένα βαθμό..."

Είδα το φιλικό με τον Ολυμπ. Βόλου, από περιέργεια κι αυτό που είδα είναι πως ο Τερζής που τους κοουτσάρει αυτή την περίοδο είναι πιο ορθολογιστής από τον Παντελίδη, ή τουλάχιστον δεν κάνει δύο φορές τα ίδια λάθη. Το πρώτο ημίχρονο ήταν άοσμο, άγευστο και φλύαρο. Ο Ντουάρντε έδειχνε βαρύς αλλά έτρεχε στο παιχνίδι -αγώνα όμως δεν βγάζει- αλλά δεν τον έπαιζαν οι συμπαίκτες του! Ο Αμπού Μπα λίγα πράγματα αλλά πιο πολλά τρεξίματα, ενώ εκείνος που άφησε καλές εντυπώσεις ήταν ο Μενέντεθ. Καλές σέντρες, ζυγισμένο πόδι και καλή συνεργασία με τον Γκάμα. Ο Ντιγκινί νομίζω πως είναι ντεφορμέ, ή εκτός ψυχολογίας (με πιο πιθανό το πρώτο γιατί πρίν το χαμένο του πέναλτι είχε κακή ψυχολογία). Καλός ο Μαντσίνι δεξιά όσο έπαιξε, αλλά δεν τον βρίσκω καλύτερο στα άκρα. Νομίζω πως πιο καλός είναι στον άξονα. Ο Τόνσο, τέλος, εκτός τόπου, χρόνου και γηπέδου. Ήταν και λάθος θέση αφού το φορ δεν του πάει. Ενώ ο Μαρτίνεζ ήταν αυτό που ξέρουμε. Παίκτης που κρατά μπάλα, δημιουργεί κλπ. Όλα αυτά βέβαια τα αναφέρω σε σχέση με τον ΠΑΟ, αφού δείχνουν την κατάσταση που διανύει ο καθένας τους. Οπότε την 11άδα του ukworm μέχρι την μέση δεν θα την πείραζα πλην ίσως του Μενέντεθ αντί του Κόρχουτ αν αυτός είναι κουρασμένος από τις υποχρεώσεις στην Εθνική της χώρας του. (Αμυντικά όμως δεν πιέστηκε ιδιαίτερα, οπότε δεν ξέρουμε τι λέει αμυντικά). Τώρα στα άκρα εγώ προτιμώ τους Φέτφα δεξιά και Γκάμα αριστερά και τον Ιντέγε στην κορυφή. Το ερώτημα είναι ποιος θα μπει ελεύθερος πίσω από τον φορ. Λογικά ο Ντιγκινί, αλλά τον πρώτο λόγο τον έχει ο κόουτς που τον παρακολουθεί. Γιατί και ο Μαρτίνεζ κάνει γι' αυτό τον ρόλο ίσως και ο Μαντσίνι αλλά όχι ο Τόνσο. Από όσα εγώ είδα θα προτιμούσα τον Μαντσίνι από την αρχή -αφενός μεν γιατί του αρέσει ο ελεύθερος ρόλος κι αφετέρου επειδή ο Ντιγκινί δεν είναι αυτή τη στιγμή στα πάνω του. (Έχασε 3 άχαστες ευκαιρίες στο φιλικό). Προσθέστε σε αυτό και τη δυνατότητα εναλλαγής ρόλων που έχει με τον Γκάμα τόσο σαν δεκάρι, όσο και σαν εξτρέμ. Όπως και να το κάνεις όμως το ζητούμενο είναι το γκολ, σαν δημιουργία και σαν εκτέλεση και σε αυτό υπολοιπόμαστε ΠΟΛΥ. Οπότε τζάμπα τα λέμε. Το πιο φρόνιμο είναι να προπονηθούμε άμεσα στα τελειώματα των φάσεων και την συνεργασία της μεσοεπιθετικής γραμμής μας στο σύνολο της. Αλλιώς κι ο Μέσι να είναι μπροστά, αν δεν τον τροφοδοτήσουμε σωστά άχρηστη είναι κάθε διάταξη της ομάδας. Αν ψάχνουμε το κεφάλι του Ιντέγε, τότε Μενέντεθ+Σούντγρεν σεντράρουν καλά. Αν όμως θέλουμε γρήγορο και συρτό παιχνίδι, ο Ιντέγε θα πρέπει άμεσα να μάθει να παίρνει καλύτερες θέσεις στις πλαγιοκοπήσεις κι όλοι τους να μάθουν να εκτελούν πέναλτι. Γιατί με την μπάλα μέσα στην περιοχή τους και με την απειρία τους αμυντικά όλο και κάποια στραβή θα μας κάτσει στην άσπρη βούλα.

Michel was hands down the best TD we had. Brought in some great players. He built the core of this team. I think Arnesen might have been just as good but it’s not fair to compare them as they operated under different parameters. Arnesen said he would bring in young players with potential and relatively cheap whereas Michel brought in older experienced players on much higher wages. Either way, I’m hoping by some miracle that Michel comes back as impossible as that seems.

This team is a disgrace, basically lost it from the foul line.

I’m not arguing, I just can’t see how any Greek comes in here after the NT ties Lichtenstein and that ends our chances of qualifying for the Euros and laughs about like you and an other poster have done over the last two games. All of us here are gutted as @J1078 said when the Ethniki performs like this. I have criticized the team, the coach and the EPO for these unacceptable performances but I don’t find it amusing just as I don’t think any true Italian found it funny when they were eliminated from the World Cup by Sweden they were irate and stunned. The NT will regroup we are a footballing nation and it’s not acceptable to be missing major tournaments and have these results. PA ME ?? the greatest kratos on Gods green Earth!

Listen guys we have to stop talking about lineups, coaches and tactics. We have to start a revolution. We need to start blaming the EPO for all of this! They are indeed at fault here. The corruption has gotten out of control and is the reason the team is falling down the rankings...

Greece absolutely dominated this game despite their horrendous form. They lost due to a combination of a lack of execution, too many hopeful long-balls and back-passed (what's new?) and plain old bad luck. No reason to miss out on 3 points today though. Fetfa was a big positive and I'm happy to see him back in the fold. Should be one of the first names on the game sheet at this point.

Our players are not able to play possession football, for not at least. Instead they have perfected the arts of back-passing, wishful long-balls and hope-for-the-best crosses in from the wings.

Paok Aris 2-2 in 1976. Paok dominated in the beginning, but an incredible Aris comeback from 2-0 down. 40000 fans, Paok and Aris fans all sitting together (those were the days). I think there was no Θ4 fan club back in those days (was established later that year...?) and certainly no Super 3 either. Not many banners flags and scarves as today... No χαρτάκια either (that started a couple of years later) Stadium jampacked 2h before the game. Great atmosphere, everybody went home in one piece... Took us 2h (!!!) to drive back home...!
